Hi Rekopro, 6 out of 10, who got 10? Could you tell the disadvantages of Betraiseer?

I have been depositing and each time I do I am able to play unlimited freerolls. I love that!

Unlimited until you win. Then you have to re-deposit.

Let me tell you, full tilt poker and poker stars have the traffic, that means you will find the game you want, including limit poker games instantly, i tried a few of these sites the number of people playing is very low, otherwise they are trying hard to get traffic.

rake-free poker people, what's not to love? if the traffic is the problem why not arrange something - like a set time when everyone makes the effort to play and get a few games going?

its rake-free with a 10% charge on any net profit withdrawals, no charge for withdrawals matching your total deposits. has to be the cheapest to play real-money poker on the web. not many people know about it yet.

10% charge on withdrawals!!! dear lord

no. 10% charge on net profit only:

How BetRaiser poker makes money

During a withdrawal of funds from BetRaiser poker to third-party payments systems, a 10% house fee will be taken from the player's net winnings. Players can gamble for a long time on rake free poker without any house fee. The house fee will only be charged on a withdrawal of net winnings.

During a withdrawal of funds, first the sum of the deposit is returned, and then the winnings, from which a house fee will be taken.

Example: a player makes a €100 deposit, wins €50 and then requests a withdrawal of €120. Under this scenario, the net winnings exceed the deposit by €20, i.e. a 10% house fee equals €2.

LOL @ this "Pardescu" which was cursing about betraiser...

It seems there are enough people not knowing what variance is..

I´d bet he chipdumped or some of this forbidden stuff and got confiscated his winnings. When do all the people learn that bad advertising is still advertising? =)

If anyone really would be a scammer i would never ever talk about them again.

@topic: I recently tried out betraiser and i have to say I like the no rake poker game, anyway it seems there is only low traffic :(. But why? They do really have a nice offer there...

Very few people play there, because their first reaction to a 10% deduction of profits on your withdrawals is similar to Patty's.

Patty, take a look at your PT3 or HEM, look at your total rake or MGR and profits, and let us know if the rake is more or less than 10% of your profits.

You'll notice it's much, much better to play rake free and lose 10% of your profits on withdrawals than to pay rake to FT, PS, or anywhere else.

That said, there is no traffic at Betraiser. I opened an account there about 2 years ago and have never played on it. Shame really, because it's a much better system of paying rake.

I totally agree with you. In these times when the downswing is with you you will bless god that you are playing at a site with no rake. Rake kills people... Even if you are a grinder or a winning player you will easily make more profit out of this with a winrate of 5BB/ 100 hands when the rake is around 2BB/100 hands. You would have to make more than 20BB/100 hands winnings for make it more profitable to play on a site with avg rake of 5% in cashgame...

So keep that job up Betraiser... Just get a bit more signups for the traffic and everything should go well...

Interesting how 90% of the people participating in this thread have a post count of less than 10...

Hehe. Nice Conversation here. Slowly but surely betraiser seems to advance! the website comes across way more fresh and modern than at the start and they are adding new features on a weekly basis. I didnt hear any bad comments about delayed payouts and didnt have any myself. :top:

never played there myself before. but i just took a look at the new homepage and at least it looks decent :D
not sure if that helps their credibility though ;)
any more reports from someone who actually plays there? how is the traffic? or is there any traffic at all? :D

I was thinking the same thing, especially considering the number of views this post has had and the length of time it's been on Cardschat. Seems like a publicity thread to me.

That said, I did open an account there roughly 3 years ago, looked at the traffic, laughed, never found any decent action, and haven't bothered to go back.

I love the idea of rake-free poker, but basically every site that has tried the model has failed over the past 10 years, even though it is ideal for players.

I'd love to play at this site, but the lack of traffic makes it basically a big waste of time for me, unless things have changed lately.

Rake kills people...

this. my grandma died of rake. there was nothing we could do because betraiser hadn't been invented yet.

oh, and traffic is still low but that's because all of you who support this site in theory (there are many of you) have yet to do the decent thing and make a small deposit so you can run a table or two alongside your normal games.

i still don´t understand why. i´m active in some other forum and people all say the same "rake free is so nice, would be best if all.....etc" but apparently, nobody ever plays there.

but maybe there are other reasons as to why theres no traffic, maybe they have slow cashouts or what have you? i guess i´ll look for some free monniez offer to at least try the software....because, to be honest, playing rake free would def. bump EVERYONE´s winrate up quite a lot, hope betraiser (or some other room) can actually get things going in the future

Well, they might be failing because they are nowhere near as profitable as traditional rake-based sites.

That leaves them with little to no revenue to spend on marketing after operation costs, freerolls, cash promotions, etc.

The only people who hear about these sites are grinders looking for multiple tables of action, but when they can't find any action they move elsewhere.

Rake-free poker doesn't exactly cater to the recreational player, as recreational players usually don't even notice the rake.

right, but this site is for people who do notice the rake i.e. anyone who isn't a complete noobfishdonkasaur... which includes some recreational players, obviously.

Indeed that could be a problem. The traffic is important. At least that is what´s making me playing at Stars or Fulltilt.

Whatever, i think for casino traffic is not necessary, so their concept could be successful anyway. They just would have to subsidize poker promotions with casino earnings if they have...

IF....

i play on a rather small network myself, but even they have like 20 times the traffic betraiser does. its really weird.

btw: anyone remember another site that tried to pull off this no-rake thing? has any of these sites ever had ample advertisement?
just really curious about the reasons for failure of most of these endeavours

hi

I make a point of steering clear of alot of the smaller pokersites. If I have never heard of it before it is very unlikely I will consider depositing on it. So far I've stuck to the big two for the most part but also have played a bit on merge network (but mostly micro sng fun stuff).
