Currently studying HU poker, moving onto 3 handed Sit and Go strategy for these 2 following weeks.

Curious to see what games you have grinded at successfully or unsuccessfully and moved on to others games.

I usually play more online tournaments and online NLH cash games, but sometimes I also play PLO and PLO-5 card cash games.

When it comes to building my poker bankroll, I lean towards multi-table tournaments (MTT). I love the thrill of competing against a large number of players for a jackpot. MTTs offer that opportunity to turn a small investment into a big win. To build my bankroll in MTTs, I wisely choose tournaments that fit my skill level and available bankroll. I start with low buy-in tournaments and gradually advance as I gain experience and confidence in my game. I also know how important it is to manage my bankroll responsibly, avoiding risking too much in a single tournament and reserving funds for other events. Good luck at the tables!

mtt would probably be a good option... sit and go, I think you can also consider it... but poker works on distance and discipline))

Texas Holdem has been described as the "Cadillac" of all poker games. I have tried most formats of Poker Like Stud, Draw, Omaha, just to name a few, But Texas will always beat the others in Popularity.
Building a Bankroll is easy, It just takes Time and Patience Starting On-line with Freerolls and then Starting to use your winnings to buy-into games. But there is a huge difference between Live Games and On-line Poker. One big difference is the Buy-in. I can play On-line all day for 25/50 Cents games. In Live Games I have never bought in for anything less than £5.00 in a Pub, up to £100,00 in a Casino and that is the only Limit I impose on myself, I could find games for a lot more, but you need to ask yourself why you are playing?
To try and get Rich? or just have a good time? for me it is the latter, I play for Fun! and yes I could lose and still have fun, the difference is how much I am willing to lose to enjoy myself.

I have found building a bankroll with PLO and PLO8 cash games most successful for myself.

Staring at stakes of 1c 2c whilst learning the game and found success upto 10c 25c stakes.

But the quality of play and players is alot better once you approach those stakes and above i found.

I usually start with hold'em SNG at the lowest levels then move to MTT when I feel I have a comfy BI cushion, usually no less than 30-50 unless the game selection at that level sucks or I'm ready to top up in case I take a hit. If/when I continue to build on that, I will keep in the 100-150 bi range, taking the occasional shot at higher levels to see how things go.

I'm retired from grinding and playing poker for "serious" money.

But in the last three years, I have built up some small amounts of money - like 10-15 dollars I had left on different sites to 3-digits during some months of play (between 2-500 dollars).

So I think I can safely say that I can beat NLH cash up to 10 dollars buy-in pretty easily.

I could probably also still beat low-stakes SnG and MTTs but the first is too boring and the latter has too high variance.

So if someone made a bet that I must build a bankroll within 2-3 months I would go for online NLH cash with 2-10 dollars buy-in.

If we talk about the most effective type, for me personally it is usually freerolls. Freerolls are actually just a plus game, and there are no risks or losses. Therefore, for me, this is the most effective and safe way to build a bankroll :)

There are many strategies and useful tools for managing your bankroll, but unfortunately, there is no one-size-fits-all approach.

I always played Texas Hold em MTT.
I like to compete in tournaments, I am not a big fan of the Cash game. I see it as just playing for money, not for competition. I am very competitive. ahaha

In my case it's freerolls and successful satellites to good tournaments. A lot depends on good promotions at poker rooms. For example, in winter the most generous was GGPoker, in spring - 888 with their recent Grandstand tournament with a $100000 money guarantee. And pokerstars has PowerPath tickets, which can be used to participate in big tournaments, such as the Sunday Million or Sunday Storm.

I'm thinking about repeating Chris moneymaker's feat, which is only possible in MTTS in Texas Holdem, so I dedicate myself to studying and practicing this variant in tournaments, I've already managed to win 1k dollars in a short space of time, I always start from scratch, which is very It's difficult to evolve, after the pandemic I have to withdraw my earnings

I've always played free tournaments at the beginning of my poker career and MTT No Limit Hold'em because I enjoy long sessions more than fast games sometimes it's boring, but I still love MTT more, I hope I'll win a lot of money soon to cover everything:)

Although I chose freerolls in your survey, in general, according to my statistics, MTT NL Hold'em tournaments are the most profitable for me.

I make a profit of 6 max hyper s&g, but you have to pay attention to when you stop! After a winning streak, you have to stop, because I can tell you from experience that online poker does not allow you to win with any hands for a while.....then you have to switch to freerolls for a few days...!

Without a doubt, the best way to increase your bankroll is to participate in freerolls, yes, the winnings are not big, yes, the bankroll increases slowly, yes, the best prizes are on the final table and it is not so easy to get there, but there is an ogram bonus in freerolls - it is impossible to lose your money there.

When you say grow your bankroll, what does this mean exactly? Are you starting from $0? $10? $100? $1,000?
My answer would vary depending on the situation. Of course, from zero, you have no choice, you must start with free rolls. But as soon as you have any money in your account, you can start playing micros. Different sites off different options, but I would suggest SnGs are the best option at least at first. They're relatively low variance and a lot of weaker players play them so you should have a pretty decent edge. Once you're up to around $50 you can start playing MTT's. I wouldn't recommend playing them much before that as in and ideal BRM, you should have at least 100, if not 200 buy-ins. Once you're at $100+ I would play almost exclusively MTT's.

online mtts , even though it's complex and difficult, it's what I can do best.
I have a lot of difficulty with the others.
