Can someone explain in more detail what poopy's doing in terms of s/s and shortstacking tables? I'm not entirely sure what that is

Basically Poopy is buying in to the 20-50bb tables on stars with 20bb's. So if you're playing 100nl he buys in for $20. I think he's playing mainly 6max poker now. With regards to how he plays and utilises the advantage of a 20bb stack maybe he can expand. Playing s/s poker on the 20-50bb tables doesn't have anywhere near the advantage they used to have when it was only 20-100bb tables, but in short it's a really good way to build up vpp's at a very quick rate.

If, as is predicted by some on 2p2, Stars changes it's buy in structure to the rumoured 35-100bb and 20bb cap games (and gets rid of 20-50bb), how will this affect you world record run and what games will you play?

Subscribed. I can't wait to see you break the record. This is by far one of the most interesting threads I've seen on here in awhile.

I agree, it sure does. Stayed on for about a month.

No prob, I forget who recommended it to me- but it's a pretty nice program. If I ever turn it off at night, it seems crazy that I ever looked at the screen without it! GL all

Poopy

p.s. Just got good at responding with multiple quotes. So sorry about the eye sore b4 with all those questions and answers looking crazy! I tried my best :)

Hey mate, cheers for the recommendation. I love this program. Makes you feel much more calm lol.

It is advantageous for me because with less money behind me, each decision is not as critical as if I had 100bb's+. Therefore, variance decreases, which is essential when playing so many hands. Also, the 20-50 bb tables on stars gets way more vpps then the 40-100bb tables. So, I usually buy in for the min (20bbs), and then I leave when I get to either 30 bbs, 50 bbs, or never, depending on how I feel that day.

If, as is predicted by some on 2p2, Stars changes it's buy in structure to the rumoured 35-100bb and 20bb cap games (and gets rid of 20-50bb), how will this affect you world record run and what games will you play?

I don't think it will affect me at all. I can and do play all different types of buy-in games...the last 2 years before this one I 24 tabled buying in at 100bbs, so I am used to deep stack also. I would def try the cap games too if the vpp rates were higher...and if they were, I would likely just play there and be just as content as I am now :)

Again, ty for all the good luck wishes from everyone! Much appreciated!

Good luck in your quest. 24 tables at once seems difficult to a guy that has a hard time with 4 ;)

I hear ya...it wasn't easy when I first started. Buttt if you want that as your goal, and keep plucking away, overtime it gets easier :)

Not sure if I posted it yet, but got my prop bet video up! You can check it out here if you like: http://www.youtube.com/user/pokerpoopy#p/a/u/0/P0WfsxRcwN8

Ty for the good luck and she says thank you also! :)

don't really know what dario minieri's record is- i play live sometimes...usually not cash, just tourneys. When you become supernova elite on pokerstars, u get 2 live 10K tournament buyins that you can choose from. So if I play any live tournaments besides home games, it will be those...like wsop main event, or I'm thinking i might choose Aussie this year.

GL guys!

You said it one of your earlier post that you Owned full ring games. Did you shortstack the full ring as well? And what did you find in the full ring games that made you so successful that might not apply to six handed tables?

Thanks

Pokerpoopy has set up a live webcam viewing his setup. @ http://www.justin.tv/pokerpoopy if anyone wants to check it out.

Checking you out on the live webcam poopy! Good stuff. Hoping you can go viral.

I'm amazed you can 24 table and still keep up convo with your friends. How long did it take you to get 24-tabling down to a machine-like response ability? What I mean is, when you first started thinking about multitabling, how long did it take you to get from 1 table to playing 24 tables comfortably? What, in your opinion, where the biggest hurdles in getting there?

Keeping the goodwill going for you and the quest to reach your milestone and pro sponsorship! I'm spreading the word in Japan for ya, so you have worldwide coverage. :D

Also, forgot to ask this earlier -- I'm just wondering if you've been in contact with pokerstars people yet about signing on as a pro? You've probably already got their attention, but if you haven't already it probably wouldn't hurt to ask if there's any specific thing you can do to basically guarantee a contract.

Anybody who can do 16-24 tables at once and keep up and do well has my utmost respect.. I've done up to 6, and was finding it a little difficult to keep up with.. I can do 4 comfortably, now. After doing 4 tables for awhile, I went back to 2 once, and found it pretty slow paced, lol.

I would say good luck, but I doubt someone who 24 tables and plays that many hours needs any.

I usually bought in for 100bbs at the full ring games. I have thought about what made me kill those games much better...I think it's a few things, but they definitely felt like softer games to me. Not really sure why else, it just always seemed to work for me better.

Maybe because at full ring games they go slower bc of extra people so I had more time to relax and make more focused, better decisions.

Well I'm not sure exactly how sure...I've been doing this for my job for about 8 years now so I'm def a veteran at it...probably after year 2 I was 12 tabling already...soooo the last 6 years I've been between 12 and 24 tables...I think I'm really good at it bc of my video game background.

The biggest hurdles was probably being able to make good decisions. I mean, anyone can 24 table lol but it's being able to make optimal decisions while doing that which is the key :)

And thx for spreading the word! The more spreadage, the better! :)

I haven't been in contact with pokerstars yet. I am going to wait until I have a big enough following that they will understand how profitable it will be for them. Hmmmm very interesting idea about asking them of specific things I can do. I may email them today about this, ty for your suggestion!

Everyone else, thanks for the words of praise and your good luck wishes!! I really appreciate it and it doesn't go unnoticed, I just can't make each post super huge so I am gonna stick to answering the questions mainly :)

Only made 11K vpps so far out of 2 days for this prop bet...I got a whole bunch more to go, so I'm gonna get my grind on right now!

Talk to you guys later, GL at the felt.
