Last week I played 33 hours of Live poker. Partly it was because of our local Casino's "Paid To Pay" Promotion (Outlined below). The other reason is that Football/Tailgate season is almost here and I had to get my fix before that! This month when the P2P wasn't running, they had a High Hand promotion. For every table of cash/promo eligible table running they put $50 into the HH of the hour.
Our room runs a minimal Bad Beat ($20K) Aces Full of Kings or better beaten.
They also have a Royal Flush Bonus. Flop it $2500, Turn it $1000, River it $500.
Paid to Play
hours paid
10 - 14:59 $50
15 - 19:59 $100
20 - 29:59 $200
30 - 39:59 $350
40+ $500
Generally I don't really care about the promos. However, if it generates traffic, I'm all for it. Even though I netted 30 hours of P2P and $400 for a HH of Quad Aces (flopped them). I'll always take the extra cash! I'm not there because of the promos, but I always make sure I know what's going on.
