How did you start your poker game?How long?

Poker is a game very much played by hollywood movies, maybe this was the great casino marketing game in the world to attract poker players.
Now with the poker sites the game is becoming more and more popular, there will come a time that poker will be part of the daily lives of many people.

Started on a PlayStation 3 game trying to get a wsop bracelet. It took me about two weeks to get it lol. Never stopped playing since I still wish online games could have good graphics as that video game had.

I started playing poker thanks to my mom, who played through facebook at zynga poker. There I met the poker world and then I went deeper and deeper until I started playing tournaments and cash tables.

i watched thta moneymaker guy and the dude with the lizard hologram lenses and they had a PILE of money on the table. i started playing free money on ps and pp, stopped for a while and got back into it like 5 years ago and have worked up a bankroll from freerolls and in the last 2years cardschat. it's been great!

2012 . In the online game there was a competition, a draw of game currency in Poker Stars home club ..several times winning decided to stay and practice further in this game.

My first game started around 1995. When visiting my dad for the week ( parents were divorced so only got to see him a few days a month ) we would play poker together. He taught me how to play five card stud first. He had a pickle jar full of coins that he would empty out. He would then equal it out to maybe $2 or $3 dollars a piece between my brother, him and I. Then we would play so see who would end up with all the nickels quarters and dimes

If either my brother or I won - he would let us keep the change. Cool way to get me into poker as well as learn some basic counting. I was around 6 or 7 at the time.
