I feel comfortable with 3 poker tables. Playing multiplayer poker is an ability to show physical presence at a live table or more tables to receive and play your cards. The main reason behind this can be, To increase the hourly win rate.

the simpler and the more similiar the games the more i think i can play comfortably

think 16 tables of dons is much easier than 12 tables of mixed variants like, plo, 6m, 9m sng

also the more players at table is easier than 6max or hu, you just have more time between decisions

Just a quick question, there is undoubtedly a lot of people that can play multi tables. But a lot of times I find some people always taken forever on every hand to decide the simplest of things. I have to sort of believe this is because they are multi tabling and not proficient at it. Any thoughts? Or am I just playing idiots, LOL

Table section is a priority of mine when sitting down at any table. With that in mind, I can profitably play 6 tables at once. I use my "reads" experience and gut to guide me through.. It seems to work :) Question is, how does nannanko play so many freaking tables and is still profitable? That's the real question.. LOL

NLHE - 6 - More than that and I make mistakes, or time out. I always tile tables, never stack because I have lost some big pots shoving on the wrong table.

Rush NLHE (pre Black Friday) 3 tables. Four is just to many decisions in to little time.

LHE - 9 - That is the number I can comfortably see at one time in a 20" monitor. I tried 12, but it was to cluttered and I started timing out.

PLO - 4 - I do not feel comfortable enough with my PLO skills to multi-table.

You don't play more than one table when you are playing live at home or in a Casino so why would you play more than one table on the internet? Because you can?

THINK ABOUT IT!! DUH!!!

Because playing a single table is B O R I N G! because playing a single table increases variance. Because one's skill level playing 3 tables for $X is almost always higher than one game for $3X. Think about it. 70% of plays are rote. I mean how hard do you have to think to fold 72?

In live play there is so much more information to take in than on line. Once you click the fold button there is little to take in on line.

I play at least 2 tables and usually 3.

I think 3 max! And honestly even with 3 I don't think you play as good as you would in just ! because you can't watch how other players play and pick up on their betting/bluffing tendencies and such.

2 is usually best for me, especially without a hud. With hud, 4-6. Less is more IMO, paying attention to things huds can't tell you pays well.

3 but it depends on if they are 9 handed or 6 handed if they are all 9 handed i can play more even up to 5

one of the problems playing alot of games is you misread stuff like straights rarely and you dont have as much information on players

3 to 4 is my comfort zone. any more than 4 and i find that i make bad decisions. sometimes i play on as many as 6, but some of those are freerolls that i pay less attention to.

It really depends , 4-6 are probably the best if i want to focus into specific player plays , if i simply want to autopilot and go into grind mode i can play up to 16 tables.

I've only tried up to 3 but 2 is the most comfortable. My current limitations are partly the lack of experience in online poker and the small screen size of my laptop

I'm still on the newer side to this, and for cash games, so far I can do 2, but want to move up to 4 when I feel ready.
Tournaments, I can only do one, I like to focus all my attention on that one tournament. I feel that's the only way I can see how people play properly.

How many tables can you play

How many poker tables can you play at one time. I have problems with three tables, and two in my number. I can play two tables and keep up very well. Once I put in that third table, I get screwed up.

I don't mean multi-tables, where you just look at you cards and click when you see a monster pair, I mean, how many can you play well, by keeping up with the cards, amount bet, player position in a satisfactory manner.

I can play 6-8 Mtts and probably 4 cash, but ideally I would say 2-3 Mtts and 1-2 cash tables. I dont use a HUD so I need to focus a bit more.
