so when are u gonna play the million?
When I get a chance? I may have to donk off all the steps just once to try it. I know 4 is easy to attain, somehow I'll bet the other 3 won't be.:)

Seriously, how do we beat shortstackers?

You don't, you just hope they do in a fire :).

Seriously you should be thrilled he shoved with A5.
Whenever I go up against a shortie it's almost always my KK < AA or QQ< KK.

They make me sad.

Thus endeth my 400NL shot. 5 buy-ins below EV when you only have 5 buy-ins set aside for the shot is... Well.

Let me put it like this:

****.

Now I'm going to go watch some episodes of Scrubs and leave this week be.

Oh boy. I decided to take a 1 buy-in shot at 5KNL, just to see what it's like.

SB: $5,819 (116.4 bb)
Hero (BB): $5,150 (103 bb)
MP1: $6,990 (139.8 bb)
MP2: $5,169 (103.4 bb)
MP3: $6,292 (125.8 bb)
CO: $5,469 (109.4 bb)
BTN: $5,193 (103.9 bb)

Pre-Flop: Hero is BB with J
spade.gif
J
heart.gif

2 folds, MP3 raises to $150, 2 folds, SB calls $125, Hero raises to $650, MP3 folds, SB calls $500

Flop: ($1,450) 2
spade.gif
9

SB checks, Hero bets $900, SB calls $900

Turn: ($3,250) 8
spade.gif
(2 players)
SB checks, Hero bets $3,600 and is all-in, SB folds

Pretty standard really, but I had no idea my heart could pound this hard. I concluded that I won't play this high anytime soon. But it feels awesome to have played 60 hands of 25/50. :D

Thats so sick Bella, I think I'd rather see the K hit the flop tbh.... I hate the way it always seems to hit the river! UL Bella.

I hate sessions like this.

Play for 1.5 hours, up 2 buyins for the biggest part of that time. Then lose 2 buyins in the space of 2 minutes. AK < KJ who hit a 3 outer and I stacked off with AK on A69 flop vs a set which was bad.

Man, to cool down I'm currently playing one table of 2/4. I bought in for $389.50 with auto-rebuy turned off. My HEM stats are: 52/5

After some fish beat my straight with his boat, I berated him and called him "fish".
This is sooo funny, obviously my hand reading abilities still give me an edge postflop, and I play almost like I normally would postflop. But due to my preflop style everyone at the table thinks I'm awful :D:D:D

lol bad session today tho i ended up $100 somehow, which is basically break even over 3hrs. I am the king of getting it in dead is all i can say...92 on 992kx board dead, straight < flush on turn w/ most of the money in already dead, AA crai on turn when only a GS got there dead + twice getting counterfeited on the river and getting snapped by ace high when i am now forced to bluff and once calling off my stack when villain hits a 4:1 on the river which was getting shoved by him no matter what. And the absolute best was flopping a flush draw + pair + GS, hitting 2 pair on turn to go with GS + flush draw and villain ofc peeling flop with a GS that hit on turn. That said, while i seem to get it in dead constantly when i'm not drawing dead i actually run real good in EV pots last little while so no complaints coz it probably balances out.

I did manage to win something today tho.
