4 hour session (without break :) ) 10-tabling 100nl, and weeeeeeee smashing result

I've had some serious revalations in the last week and this was the first session where it's really come together with some serious aggression versus the regs (I've had six sessions this week and won 5, with only a $100 loss in the other).

Tonight...

12th

Last week :)

Goodrun

Any thought on these stats welcome (tiny sample tonight, but interested if anything sticks out.

3bet is soooper high but not too high. There aren't many regs who know how to adjust to that so I guess you don't really need to keep that in check, but that's something I look for to 4bet bluff against.

Fold to 3bet is also pretty high. Good oop which I guess a lot of FR is, so meh :) Your vpip/pfr spread seems big, but it's not that bad.

You can open up even more on the btn. Like way more. Like %40-%50 ats. Nevermind, just saw your ats is up there, that's perfect imo.

200nl here you come?

Is this a joke? How much is he supposed to 3-bet here?

Nope, he's right. Liam didn't even pot it. Your raise size is a function of the pot size, the number of players in the pot, and your position. He's got the high/bad end of all 3 of those things, and as such should be raising it bigger. I'd bump to about $16, maybe more depending on how cally the players are.

Cheers Chuck,

I don't know tbh. Considering my Irexes Principle and thinking of staying put for a while and really getting the hang of this new approach. From my 75k run at 200nl it just seemed much harder to beat. That said perhaps this is the approach.

Absolutely murdering regs with the 3 bets and finding different ways to play versus the maniacs and lags. When someone played back at me I adjusted and won some lovely pots as a result as they came over the top light. My action image was clearly doing me lots of favours though I hardly ever showed down garbage and bluffing wasn't really a big part of it.

I was suprised to see the VPIP PFR spread myself, maybe it'll get smaller over time. I've been playing 18/12 then 18/14 for a long while so it's quite a shift.

Feels good and very excited to see how things pan out over a decent sample (100k hands type thing).

I see, thanks for that tip, Chuck. How can you see that he didn't pot it from reading the hand history? So many numbers. :p I had to actually paste the hand into a hand replayer so that I could see he bet slightly less than pot.

so sick, i stacked off like 8 times today with top pair in a 3 bet pot, all of which with queen or better kicker and didnt win 1.

anyway i almost quit today after losing 12 buyins, half to runnig bad, 1/4 to coolers and 1/4 to playing bad, but then vanq schooled me in the arts of manning up and not feeling sorry for myself, and i crushed the session straight after, so things are slightly brighter

i'll coach anyone who's interested. i've got experience at full ring from .25/.50 to 2/4. i've won at all of those limits, although i had a 30 buy in downswing at 2/4 from which i never really recovered. i'm sure my advice is worth something. i'd like to coach everyone for free, but money is really tight right now, so i'll have to charge something. price negotiable of course, shoot me a PM i suppose.

that is, of course, if u think i'd provide help. if u don't think i'll make u win more, u obv don't contact me.

Aww.. I love a good net-suicide.

It's all the drama without any of the actual sad part.

Let me know when you are back... I've never seen you play.

whee 11.5k hands today, was behind 1500 at one point but ended up just under -1k. Kinda sucks but I'm getting the hands in and the bonuses are gonna make a difference. Plus I know I can't lose forever. Another ~600 below ev, but w/e bring the shit on. That's all you got?

wooo! Here's today's session results, longest session in a real long time. You guys just don't know how good it felt to play a long session and be able to keep focus.

Life has been very difficult over the last 6 months or so and it just killed me at the tables. Was just utterly mentally and physically exhausted from everything. I think I can see light at the end of that tunnel.
