Omaha odds chart

I've been playing a lot of Omaha so I made this chart up for myself and thought I would share it. If you see any mistakes please let me know.

112.4% chance to hit with 25 outs and two cards to come?

I like my chances!

You can't divide the odds against hitting with 2, when you want to calculate the odds for hitting on the turn OR the river.

You need to calculate the odds for NOT hitting the turn or the river, and then subtract 1 with that value. E.g.

6 outs, turn or river: 1 - ((41/46) * (41/45)) = 0.1879 = 0.19%

/FP

PS. Is there a difference between outs in Hold 'em and Omaha? Not sure why this chart would be different from HE? DS.

112.4%? Even Irish Dave isn't unlucky enough to lose with those odds, surely?

Here are the correct odds and the formulae you should be using for HOLD'EM:

And for OMAHA, it's just 2 fewer unseen cards

I R Dum. Thanks. And I see now that I messed up on the numbers too, but the principle is right. I shouldn't be posting numbers late at night.

Thought about this for a bit and it makes perfect sense now that I see it. I have used my way a knew that over 100% didn't mean a for sure thing. It just meant that I would draw 2 of the outs more than drawing none of the outs but I am glad to learn the correct way to figure the odds. Learned something new today.

Is that supposed to be 0.19% or 19%

As far as the difference between Holdem and Omaha, Bombjack said it, 2 fewer cards. Odds are so close that it probably doesn't make a difference in practical use but I still wanted a correct table.

And thanks for the correct tables Bombjack. Printed and now hanging next to the monitor.

I haven't seen an Omaha chart since I took Lou Kreiger's Poker Bible back to the library last year.

Thanks again.
