| Poker Rooms on Cruise Lines throw odds??? When on a Cruise Line from Florida to the Bahamas and back, I think the odds were crazy in my favor! I normally play on 10 or 9 person tables, but on the cruise line there were tables of 5 with a dealer. In my mind I changed the odds of making hands proportionately, but that didn't seem to work. Not that I minded, but I was getting pairs like there were no end to them and flopping trips and 4 of a kind regular. And when that wasn't happening I was getting KQ, A with JKQ10 and filling 10 to A straights like mad. I tossed only about one hand per 6 or 7 and played all 6 or 7 to win, wife and I are going to cruise on the west coast and I hope to whomever smilled on me last year will come see me again... |

| Other than saying you had a good run of cards, I'm not sure what you're getting at Lad. The odds of you making a hand (if you stay in as often) doesn't change with the # of players, but the odds it will be the best hand does. Obviously, on average you don't need as big a hand shorthanded. |

| re: Poker Rooms on Cruise Lines throw odds??? D'willius ??? Do you mean I have the same odds of getting a good hand if there are 9 at a table as I do if there are 5. The difference is 18 cards delt to 10 cards delt, it looks to me that I would have 8 more cards to make good hands, but then I was never good at math..
