lol well you cant make the site much better...i do have a few suggestions tho, a big one is being able to play more than 3 tables at once. and STOP BOUNCING CHECKS!! hahah jk about that one, but overall i like the software it just makes it hard for me to play there often simply because the 3 table limit.

I believe they are already in the process of fixing the 3 table limit if they have not done so already. There may still be a beta version on Bodogs website that will allow you to do more that 3. I'm not sure yet tho I will get back to you on that.

speed up play

After a player uses all his time deciding what to do (after the red scroll finishes), in the dialog box suggest how he might speed up play by using one of the buttons before it's time for him to act. And that this would speed up play and be courteous to the other players. This would make you unique among poker sites.

Sloans do you mean force him to make a decision with less time than they normally give you if he continously takes all the time he can?

re: How can we improve Bodog??? poker

Allow players to have more than 3 tables open is huge. It is a silly rule when online players are highly regarded for playing multiple tables. Why does bodog restrict it to 3 is riDONKulous. Every site allows you to play in more.

Joe they are fixing that and soon enough it won't be an issue. Also, I'm looking for suggestions for game limits, points tournys, stuff like that. One of mine is more multi table tournys with 6 per table.

That would work. I was also suggesting that you the encourage the use the action buttons before it's your turn to act "check/fold" etc., with an occasional announcement.

I like the new resizable tables, that's a plus for me. The one thing I would like to see Bodog do is institute player-to-player transfers. A nice, hassle free system, like Poker Stars.

Oh, and let the Canadians play.

I'm just curious, what is your function at or relationship w/ Bodog? They have an opinion panel (of which I am a part) that they use for feedback, surveys, etc. already. . . .

re: How can we improve Bodog??? poker

I played there today and they have updated the site. They got rid of that HUGE chat bar and made the tables totally resizable so it works on lower resolution screens. Those were my main complaints.

It could be a little faster on slower pc's, But the improvements will cause me to play there more.

I am also on the same panel but I am looking for more in depth changes that they can make. I contact them directly and I am working more closely with them than just the surveys and feedback that the Panel provide.

Hey spc, enjoyed playing at the table with you tody (52cardsnow). I mentioned there and I'll mention again that the light blue chat letters are waaaay to light. I cannot sit close to my comp. and it makes it very hard for me to read chat.. Moving th chat next to the bet bars was a really good move also.

One thing that's always bothered me about bodog is that when u place in the money in a freeroll, the "money" is not added to your cash balance. In my humble opinion, if a person is a depositing member of Bodog, all freeroll winnings should be avail in your account for use as u see fit, i.e, cash games.

I read above^^^^somewhere that they might start some points games, I really like that idea also. I build a pretty good bankroll over on Ultimatebet that way. Lot of players playing the point games there also. Seems like it would be a pretty good move on Bodogs part. They pay a lot more ofr their points than Ultimatebet.

Not sure why your having that problem. My freeroll winnings have always been available for any type of games. Might want to ask Bodog about that one.

It depends on what kind of freeroll you are playing (or any tourney, for that matter); if any payouts are in "T$" (=tournament dollars), it means that you'll only be able to use those winnings to play in more tournaments. If this is the case, there's usually a notice popping up when you register, just to remind you, and the payouts are marked with "T$" in the lobby. Any other payouts -- freeroll or other -- go right into your eCash balance and can be used for anything you want.

By the way, one of the few things that are unique & that I like very much about Bodog is the fact that whenever you win a T$ event, you have the option to use those winnings for any tourney you want, rather than getting an actual ticket. (For example, if you win the "ticket" to the Sunday $100K Guarantee in a CC event, you simply get T$109 in your account to use for the $100K or ANY other Bodog tourney(s), whereas at most other sites you'd HAVE to play the $100K.)

I'm not quite into Bodog. I prefer FT and Pokerstars over Bodog. As said before, the 3 table limit really sucks. I like to play at a lot of tables at once, and that's simply not available on there. I very rarely play on Bodog, so I don't know if any changes will even lure me into starting up on there. I've just become too used to FT, Pokerstars, and Ultimatebet.

The 3 table limit will be taken care of very soon. I am looking for suggestions from Bodog based players and they can be about anything. One person said show whether people are sitting out and one said the chat letters are too light. Just whatever you think can be tweeked, let me know and I'll pass it along. How about your guys thoughts on Bodogs customer service? To me, they are far superior to any poker site out there and only true Bodog players know this. Give me your thoughts on this please!!!

Here is a HUGE complaint of mine:

When you make a bet, the amount gets added to the pot automatically. This is fine, but there should be a way to see what was in the pot initially. FullTilt shows the initial pot, AND the "total" pot with any bets on that street added.

At the VERY least they need to stop giving the total bet added amount when you hover your cursor over the chips that are only in the middle.

For example: there is 90 in the pot, a player bets 90, bodog give the pot as 180. If I hover my cursor over the chips in front of my opponent it says "90" (correctly, that's his bet), but if I hover my cursor over the chips in the middle it says "180" (incorrect, it's actually only 90).

it's pretty silly that they still don't have a lobby like all the other sites where you can see what chip position you are in with tourneys...other than that I just want a stable poker client...nothing more frustrating than disconnections

1 dolar sit&go and tournaments may be added. also some of small buy-in sit&goes like 2 dolars must have turbo tables. this is a must. also you win more.

u may add "triple draw 2-7 lowball" guaranteed tournaments. or once a week organise a a heads up, "blind mans bluff " tournament. these will attract some non holdem players. i also may want " horse"

for software, i dont know how but it may work with less RAM. pokerstars' software works with less RAM and works much faster. computer business.

Got it, not sure if they are willing to make changes to their lobby but I think they will be flexible on adding extra games like 2-7 lowball and horse.
