I have not considered PokerStars to be the best place to play for a very long time. In my opinion, the best right now is either 888 or GGpoker. PokerStars is no longer the site it used to be, the dynamics are declining and the prospects are not very good. But if you like it, that's great, the main thing is that you feel comfortable playing, and everything else doesn't matter

Maybe 888 Poker have more freerolls than PokerStars, but for everything else PokerStars is better. It has a far bigger selection of MTTs, it has 8 times more volume in cash games, and at least it still has SnGs, whereas 888 has taken them down completely. PokerStars also has better software, faster payouts and better security. It pains me to say this, because I have enjoyed playing on 888 in the past, and I also had good results there. But I moved back to PokerStars a few years ago mainly due to 888 Pokers game selection simply not being good enough for my needs.

PokerStars is no longer the site it used to be, the dynamics are declining and the prospects are not very good.

The prospects for 888 Poker are far worse. Freerolls alone can not keep a site running

PokerStars has for me one of the best Table Formats in On-line poker sites, the Software is comfortable to use and play on and the only thing that disappoints me is the Childish Throwables, and of course the lack of Freerolls available.
It was the very first On-line site I downloaded, and I have tried many others since but no matter how many I play on I always drift back to PokerStars.

I used to like PokerStars. Abolishing the freerolls was one thing but the late registration times of most tournaments is a sick joke.
