I'm assuming you limped KK preflop(Hoping someone behind raised)? Then the BB raised to 1200? That was when you RR preflop to 3600?

What type of player was BB? If what your saying is true (Than BB had to be aggressive and/or you had to be passive and BB knew something about your game, and was trying to exploit you post flop OOP)?

Either way as you were already told you got very unlucky+With 30+BB's pre, after the raise it's easy to say you could've done this and that (so let it go and move on)

Imho no getting away there with the flush draw unless you put villian on a pair of aces. It happens.

Thanks for all your advice, next time I play live tournament again at Bicycle Casino I will be more super aggressive against this players who raised their blinds with 9 10 OFFSUIT ,OUT OF POSITION .
I should learn and moved on on this type of players, but the good part is I learned that what I did was a correct play, and in poker CORRECT PLAY does not guarantee a winning hand.

Easier said then done.. But do you think that he is just shoving here with nothing or A9? And do you want to risk your tournament life here? You have a great hand with the heart draw, but maybe ask your self this next time your in this situation.

Nothing is easy in poker, and yes I put him on A9 , the result of this tournament was already posted at Bicycle Casino Website,he did not qualify on the 2nd day.
What i'm trying to say is next time if we ever play again heads up I know now what to do against him.

If the best poker player in the world, that knew every play and percentge correctly and played 100% optimally then they still would not win every tournament.

You played the hand correctly, move on and learn that sometimes you play poker hand correctly and still lose, that is why tournament poker is high variance.

The first post said it all to you.
(grinding mostly mtts for living, for 2.5 years ) IMO, you played both of your moves the only way you could.

+1 on this reply, you just took a bad end, you had to call flop and shouldnt ever shove preflop, the raise was just right

i have been told repeatedly not to go bust after the flop with 1 pair but i still do.im to new to the game to give any advise other than maybe listen to this advise that i have been given
Would the villain go allin on this flop with a set or with a flush? I do not think they would do that by leading out by going allin with a hand as strong as that.
Maybe they would do it if they had the Ace of hearts in there hand but wouldn't they maybe just check the flop and call a bet or maybe check and then raise allin after the hero bet?

I do not think I would fold there in that spot.

I would of done the same thing you did.

If you had shoved all in pre-flop he possibly would of folded and you would not have gained a big pot. You were very unlucky for him to flop two pairs. It is better to lose a hand to the right decision instead of losing it to a mistake you made.

Woulda played it the same way you did. Unfortunate flop for you but even then you were drawing pretty well. I would've put him on A 9 or 10 offsuite with maybe the nut flush draw when he pushed it all in on the flop.
