I started playing poker in 2010 and I'm just now to the point where I consider myself an above average tournament player. freerolls can be stressful, especially when you have been playing for 3 hours and your 10 places away from that meager 20 cents and your shortstacked. lol. I got in the money in the third tier of payouts on carbon the other day and won 50 cents. It's better to take shots before the bubble on a freeroll when the low tier payouts are under $1.20 in my opinion. You can't play micro stakes cash games without about that amount. I think I'm a solid player but I lost the 50 cents on carbon because the ONLY thing you can play with that little cash is 11 cent super turbo sng's that are 6 max and only the top 2 cash. If it were a regular sit n go it would be gravy but it's really just a game of bingo IMO. Starting chips are too low and the blinds go up too fast to get much of an edge based on your skill
