I'm not a subscriber to sharkscope but I'm hoping someone who is can answer a couple questions about what exactly the info you get on a player is if you are a subscriber...the two things I'm interested in are actual roi and winrate. In the limited info version, they give "average roi" which seems like a meaningless stat...What is average roi anyway??? Does it mean if you don't money, then the roi for that tourney is -100% and you have to average all those -100%s with the ones where you do money which would be a bunch of +300%, +1500%, +8,000%s etc?
There is a certain player I have been watching who plays in many of the same tourneys as I do and I think his winrate might be statistically impossible to achieve...he's really an awesome player, but still something supernatural seems to be going on for him over 8500+ tournaments. A smooth upward graph, no downswings whatsoever...seems impossible, yet it's that way for him and I'm just wondering if I've uncovered some sort of low-stakes superuser who flies under the radar because of the low stakes he plays.
Just curious, thanks.
