They are not too bad, but I had only played one and tripled my stack when I tripped up and basically folded to the cash

Won another one. I am going to try two at a time next. Seems like a great way to build a bankroll.

First one I tried, I was seated with Dead. Lost couple hundred to him first hand (he turned the nuts) then got allin with pair over pair...you know the rest. Tenth doesn't pay, so rigged :icon_tong.

edit: made it in 2nd one, took 32 minutes now that its turbo.

I am enjoying them, once the table thins out and blinds get large you can steal blinds like the hamburgler

4/4 ITM on 1.10 buy-ins. Gonna move up to $2 or $5 buyins after I win a few more of these.

You don't double up. $5.50 to win $10, or $11 to win $20. Have played nine of these. 1 table, 1 table, boring as hell, 3 tables & 4 tables. Cashed 7 of 9. $99 invested $140 returned, insignificant sample but patience would seem to be the key to these.

No you don't double up. The rake is always a factor.

i think i might give these a try, they are filling fast, I have a feeling that many are multitabling these up for steady easy money

gotta be good

i love my sit n go"s ,so these look pretty good to me .They do similar ones on pkr,so i wouldn"t say they are entirely new .If you just sit tight and play premium cards patiently ,i can assure you ,you will cash most of the time .I personally think these would be an ideal way to start building up a decent bankroll ,if you stick to these principles ,
,tc and have a good and profitable day at the tables

;)

Seems they have turned chat off for part or all of these games now for some reason? I wrote to support to try and find out why.

I like my chat.

Response to chat being turned off

Thank you for contacting us today, we appreciate your feedback.

Due to recent player feedback the decision was made to prevent observer
chat and all chat when the field is narrowed to 7 players.

While we appreciate your thoughts in this matter there are no immediate
plans to alter this decision. I have however forwarded your feedback onto
our Poker Room manager for further consideration. If we elect to alter
this chat restriction we will be sure to let you know.

Once again thank you for your email and if you have any other queries,
please do not hesitate to contact us again.

I sent another email asking what complaints they received to have chat turned off. Seems silly to me to have chat off for players during the game.

I just checked this out by playing a few games. It is so beatable it isn't funny, I won every game with minimal play. Busted shortstacks left and right with no more than top pair. Funniest was AA on the flop, BB pushed all in and called by another, I just had to call with pocket aces, lol. (villian 2 on flush draw)

Downside is
#1: Time involved to double (less house rake).
#2: only doubling buy in less house take, not as much proffit as regular STT's (but proffit is proffit!)

Still easy money imo. Easy to multi table, esp. with turbo's for max $ per hour.

btw, only 2 sitters that came back to the game near the bubble. Was concerned about playing against a couple live playes and the rest of the table sitting out by reading other posts, didn't have it happen to me.

pokerstars has issues with making people follow rules of etiquette....On A LOT of their games they would rather turn off all chat as opposed to taking valid reports of abuse and turning a single persons chat off.

Apparently some people can't avoid going on tilt or something??

Simple, people are probably colluding a lot during the bubble. The DoN games tend to attract fish who don't know any better so stuff like "everyone check it down" or "let's all call _____'s BB so he busts" are probably not uncommon.

Looks like the rake has just been slashed in these. Might be an interesting way to try to step up to a bigger tourney.

I have seen where people have talked about folded to a person who has been sitting most of the game. Is that considered colluding?
