Haven't been here for awhile but after reading thru a lot of threads, I have formed the opinion that I have wasted my time building my br at lock. I think its just a matter of days till Merge is history for US players. What bothers me is they knew it and still took loads of American deposits post black Friday. Time to get use to "joining for a fee" and playing for "cash prizes", cause thats all thats about to be left.

Any thoughts on the article's phrasing about not taking "new players" from those states. I already have a Carbon account and live in MD. Any clues as to what that means for future play?

(Or is it silly to even ask about predictions for the future of US players and online poker?)

Well Carbon never replied to me about their check that bounced,,, but yesterday I got a new check via FedEx ......Drawn on a canada bank like the other one,,,but different third party payee,,,, Will let ya'll know how this one turns out,,,of course still lost the money my bank charged for returned check,,but oh well, price of playing online I guess. Take care

Yeah, I took a look over there. They are keeping him pretty much constantly busy and they are larger so they are going to get more attention I guess.

One thing I saw for those not wanting to wade into that mess is that cashouts for US players are expected to take 6 weeks currently by check. Just so ya know. That figure was from CarbonChris.
