Hmmm, that's odd. It would be nice to know which affiliate wouldn't it. :p

Thank you for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support.

There is a test group of players who are not linked to any affiliate, who have been assigned to an affiliate 'rakebackpros'.

The reason for why we were unable to put your name forward for consideration is because you are already linked to an affiliate. It would violate our Affiliate Agreement to move a player off of an affiliate account.

Since you have not been receiving rakeback from this affiliate, we have placed you on an alternative list for upcoming promotions as compensation.

Regards,

Tomotaka

Apparently i did use an affiliate :(

Thats GOOD. This means you can get rakeback! Ask them which affiliate.

FTP never tells you your affiliate and being linked to one is not good (unless you get the same offer referred to in the OP).

They probably won't tell you. They refused to tell me but I was able to find out anyway and forced them to confirm it.

I emailed FT about rakeback and they sent me this email in 24 hrs. not bad for FT.

Hello Gary,

Thanks for getting in contact with us about rakeback.

Although full tilt poker does not offer rakeback directly to players, our preferred affiliate partner RakeBackPros.com offers rakeback to players who sign up through their website with Full Tilt Poker.

We?ve sent your player details to RakeBackPros.com and they will be in direct contact with you.

If there's anything else we can help you with, please let us know. We're always here to help.

don't get your hopes up bud, I recieved the exact same email about 6 months ago, and despite gettting in touch with rakebackpros about 5 times I never got a reply. Ive since contacted ft a few times and they dont wanna know.
Im composing a snotty email at the mo, gonna tell them Im happy to go to another site if they dont sort this out for me, but they probably dont care, as Im only a micro stake player

Can't believe I'm reading all this again... yes I went thru the hoops several times with no RB in sight, and decided, screw this, don't like the ring there anyway (stud antes too high and bringins too low; huge rake) (I guess HE and OH are better)... Soo... I stick to MTT and SNG there mainly and run my rake for ring at Stars and UB.
Tilt is a great tourney site, but bad EV for ring IMHO (speaking micro and low, high rollers get some good breaks they say).
Don't know the numbers but bonuses clear faster and points build faster at Stars. No RB there but at lo limits is a better deal than Tilt IMHO.

the VIP system at stars is a realyy poor rb % equivalent unless you are a high volume player SN+

been ther done that. Software makes me want to rip my eyeballs out

haha well assuming your running the windows software, its got to be a heck of a lot better than their mac java client with no customization available at all.

Ild be interested to hear your thoughts about ipoker network after you've played a few hands!

Yesterday i sent a nice email to fulltilt saying I was very frustrated with them about rb, and would probably take my money to another site very soon. Funnily enough no reply yet.............

I have got it as of three weeks ago. I am getting small amounts of rakeback due to the fact of not playing much on the cash tables. Play mostly MTT's and privates. Still though a little is better then none and someday i may just play a little more cash and see how that goes.

Here is a mail i received from FTP

Thanks for contacting Full Tilt Poker Support.

You?ve asked about the possibility of receiving rakeback but at this time, Full Tilt Poker does not offer rakeback directly to players.

There are a number of affiliate companies which offer rakeback if players sign up to Full Tilt Poker through their website. However, it appears that you were referred to Full Tilt Poker from an affiliate which does not offer rakeback. We are unable to switch your account from this affiliate to another, as our agreement with affiliates prohibits this.

We understand that you are interested in such promotions in the future and if the situation changes, our players will be the first to know and we will contact you when we have more news.

Regards,

Essentially anybody who signed up via an affiliate will not be able to get rakeback via anyone...Those who went down this route can only hope to receive an email like the OP or change sites

Those with accounts at FT who signed up directly and downloaded via FT will be able to get rakeback on their accounts. You'll just have to hassle them to get it done, but it will happen.
