What is cost of rebuys?
How many players are in this freeroll - over 2000 players?

Am I reading the original post correctly? This is a 0 + .10 tournament??

Am I to understand that it is a freeroll, unless you rebuy or add on?

No it costs you 10 cents. It looks like that because your 10 cents are not going to the prize pool; it is being raked.

Ahh, OK.

Thank you for the clarification. I don't think I will be able to try this one out just yet, because my bankroll consists entirely of T$. Looks like I'll need a real$ freeroll win.

You can use $T to enter this. Ferguson's BR strat says you should have $5 before you start this one though.

It is NOT a freeroll. It is a $.10 buy-in tournament, which is why it is listed in the real money tourneys. It is played at 1735 ET (GMT -5) daily, but if you want to play, you need to register well before that as it fills up early. The maximum number of players is 3600.

Rebuys are $.50 each for 1000 chips and unlimited up to level 6 (First break). You are allowed one add-on of 1500 chips, which is also $.50.

It is a donkfest, but settles down some after the first break. Wise money management would be to never re-buy and never add on.:D

Use to play it, but been sleeping in too late for it lately.
I noticed also the prize pool increases with all the rebuys and add-ons.
But like everyone else said, dont rebuy or add-on, juts play the .10 as far as you can.
It is a long tourney, but if you enter a freeroll or play some fake money tours to multi-table during it it seems to go alot faster. And the fake money tables are great for the impatient player like me. I get to throw my money away on them and play smart in the money tours.

Disclaimer: When I say play smart, I really mean not playing as stupid as I normaly do. I cant say I have ever really played smart. I try, but damned if I dont always make that 1 stupid play that ends the tour outside the money spots.

Good luck all, maybe see ya in the .10 some day.

I like the dime tourneys on fulltilt. I don't do any rebuys or addons and one time I finished 3rd for like 120 bucks! I have made the top 150 a few other times. I probably have done 50 dime tourneys. I usually shove allin in the first hour with big hands and hope they hold up. I'll even call an allin with mid pairs and suited aces down to aceten during the first 10 minutes because its wild time. One time I couldn't believe it if didn't happen in front of me but a player rebought at least 10 times so he is in for 5 bucks and would have to place in like the top 30 to break even.

I had a friend who was in FTOPS $300r for over $3922, so he rebought 12 times and added on once. His stack at break was 6000 and he didn't cash.

Just cashed in there tonight. Was like 32nd but finished 58th. Always one big hand that gets me going late. :p Someone at the table said it was more rebuys than usual. I never rebuy or add-on. It was kinda fun, and the play actually pretty good after the first break (no more rebuys lol).

Seems like an exceptionally long tournament, 3600 players? Jeez! Sounds fun though, for only a dime. 1000 Guarantee isn't too shabby either! :)

Interesting..I never paid attention before that the 10 cents went to rake

When I play I only go in for the 10 cents....But it is guaranteed for 1K so the prize pool always gets there

Ahhhh......The 10 cent MTT is the one my holdem manager said ROI was infinity...now I understand. No Buy-in

If you look and my post with the screenshot above, you'll see I didn't rebuy or add-on, along with how long the tourney takes. If you know how to find it at FT, look at completed games, and open the tourney lobby. Last night's took almost an hour longer than mine. Also, the rebuy info is there. But I was probably in the money maybe 2 & 1/2 (??) hours into it, another 30 - 60 minutes probably to get down to 58th place. The last 50 to go are probably battling it out for a long time.

How did you make 15 cents in a freeroll? Or did you blow the $1.85? lol

For me it's better to play in the double deuce satellite 0.50+0.10$. It's pretty good when the final table pays out 22$ to everyone. Never got to the payouts but once ended up on bubbles and got 7.25$. You should try it out when there's 100 or more players registered!

oh, :stoned:right, sorry about that.

thats the bad thing about re-buys, péople just want to make 20 times the starting chip count in 2 hands, and i hate that. but i gues after the first hour this ends.

well 3 hours seems fine, i guess. I mostly like to be in the money 1 1/2 hour after T start.

PD: i got them cents in a 100 private freeroll, thats the way to go. (private when talking about freerolls i mean)

Yeah, the first hour is the worst. Think of it as the same as waiting out the donkathon in the first hour of any freeroll and only playing premium hands. After that, actual poker more or less commences. You are always left with a remnant of the AIM's (All In Morons) who haven't gotten spanked yet or have done multiple re-buys, but they are finally in the minority and finally cannot pump their chipstack by buying more. They don't last all that much longer. :D

I as well was wondering are these tables worth it???

I have noticed that for the most part that what the consensus is that these are tough due to the rebuys and addons... Other that that if you play your hands slightly loose in the beginning and play ABC poker through the early rounds you may have a shot??? This is how Im am going away with what I gained here... Hope to see you at the tourney tables...

I play in these tournaments quite frequently. Lots of fun, and have cashed enough times that I will continually come back for more when I got enough time to play the tourney. Farthest I have gotten thus far is 19th place.

Don't rebuy or addon, just wait for another day.
