So i just went to the store and purchased a Netspend card. I put some money on the card, planning to go home and activate it and try to deposit to Bovada. Now i wasnt expecting for the deposit to Bovada to go through, i was just hoping it would. If it didnt work, oh well, i could just use the card for shit i needed to spend money on.
Now what i definitely was not expecting was that the activation for my Netspend account would send me into crazy town. First i tried to activate it online, It said it could not be done at this time and i needed to call customer service, so i did. After waiting for 10-15 minutes i finally spoke with someone who i could barely understand. I gave her all my information to activate it and after being put on hold she told me she could not activate the card at this time and that i needed to FAX my ID and SS card.. I asked her why and she said there was a block on my account... Why the hell is there a block on my account? I have never used Netspend before and i just bought the card like an hour ago....
I got her to clarify like 3 times that it needed to be FAX'd in. I couldnt scan it she said i needed to FAX the documents.. They really expect people to just have easy access to a FAX machine? I could easily scan the documents and send them, this is just really ridiculous and absurd and i am very ticked right now..
I am about to call back and talk to someone else that i can actually understand maybe even try to speak with a supervisor.. idk...
