I am not saying by any means the best Poker movie but I like Casino Royale. What’s better than giving a guy a chance to win his money back and beating him again and getting an Aston Martin let’s be real lol

Maverick is really good movie. But poker is described as just an action. Nothing's serious.

Check out Cincinnati Kid . Movie is a classic. From the 5 card stud era .

Excellent movie and it has a real remarkable "You're good kid, but as long i'm around you're the second best"

I have watched several movies but these are the ones that really liked:

1. Rounders. No comment here. Very well made and for me the best overall poker movie.
2. High roller (Stu Ungar History) - Great movie showing the dark side of the gambling. Very good movie to show you the results of the bad approach to the game.
3. The Cincinnati Kid - Good movie to show you how it was when there was no internet, big casinos or all that noise around poker. You need to know the history to be successful in the future.
4. Casino - Another movie showing the dark side of the gambling industry. Not directly related to poker but very well made.

I love watching poker in movies, even though I know that in the end, the good guy will beat the bad guy with the absolutr nuts, while the bad guy holds the demi-nuts.

Anyway, after much consideration, i came to a conclusion that mu favorite movie with a poker scene is "Trinity is Still my Name" (1972). It's in no way considered a serious movie, in fact it's actually a comedy, but the poker scene is priceless.

Casino Royale will always be my favorite. Might even be what got me interested in poker in the first place. Even if that final hand was a bit ridiculous.

Hi, dear

There are many good poker movies like showed by our friends already. Each one has it's own
good story.

But if you're looking fore a movie which the main target is the Texas Hold'em poker in the story, Rounders is the one.

Best of Luck:icon_comp

Привет, дорогой.

Есть много хороших покерных фильмов, которые уже показывали наши друзья. У каждого своя
хорошая история.

Но если вы ищете фильм, главной целью которого является покер в Техасском Холдеме , то это Rounders .

Удачи :icon_comp
Yesterday I watched this movie! The film is good in its own way, but not for everyone. He will appeal to those who have played at the live poker table at least once!

I will definitely watch the movies suggested in this thread. I've watched so many movies, but only seen Rounders and Molly's Game of all the poker movies mention. Look forward to starting one of these tonight, maybe Maverick.

"High Roller: The Stu Ungar Story". It does not get the best overall rating of poker movies but it does depict the life of the legend.

Everyone in this thread says Rounders, including yourself, and I couldn't agree more!!

Rounders is the best poker movie I have ever seen

But I highly recommend High Roller, Stu Ungar Story (my second favorite)

All In The Poker Movie (2009) was good as well, not (2006)
