When Full Tilt and pokerstars was my main focus prior to the Annapolis Maryland shutdown I was raking it in and was fortunate to be playing with a solid group of players. My house at the time had all sort of nice stuff bought solely from PS and FT cash play. Now these days your lucky to get fair play on any of these sites unless it's a freeroll or private game. I still build my rolls in live play casino/house local games but online where I live in Maryland forget about it.Anyways when railbirds.com was big and we had teams/clans
we use to have pro poker players in our private tournaments for charity. Jennifer Harmon was always cool to talk too since we had her in our games when we were giving to breast cancer awareness. We would always put a nice $500 bounty on her too which was a huge plus when she was at your table. That woman would always play her ass off too. Anyways my point is I have reported good winnings every single year since the Money Maker boom so it can be done. I'm currently a 1/2 & 2/5 player and to this day my love for this game burns strong. My suggestions is you study the game day in and day out. You will never stop learning because this game is always evolving through different tactics. You must attack the player regardless of what your pocket cards read to be successful long term. Know your percentages and never play outside your bankroll. Play patient, play aggressive and have no mercy or regret on anyone you play against. Be the 5% by wanting it and attacking your goals and I promise you might not be rich but you sure as hell can make a nice side income every year if you play your cards right. I agree with the autor. It is very difficult to make big money by poker. But it is not difficult to make any money. I play not often. But I make about $2k in 2016. It is very good money for me but I will work to improve this achievement in 2017. I hope the Cardschat will help me with it

the luck is important in all these games, u know the variance! i was just going really deep in MTTs last couple of years, being platient, aggresive, making good laydowns, always sharp and good, and still i'm losing flips when im ahead pre flop or lossing to coolers when im 80%- 20% ahead with unreal boards that beats my hand,,, so it's just that easy if you are good player without any luck in the vital moments of any mtt against any player good or bad, u cant win none but some small cashes, that wont even make u break even,,,,, cash games are another story but i dont like them because they are much different
