I was lucky to play poker live, and in a different country to mine.
The truth was that it was a very nice experience, sharing my moment of play with people from another country, for me it was very nice.
I have seen players who were asleep at the table (literally asleep), and who warned them when it was their turn to play.
I have also seen attitudes that I did not like about certain players, for example, who were happy when someone lost with a strong hand (full house vs. color).
The times I played live, they were all in the casino.
So far I did not make friends at the tables, since I've played few times live, but the opportunities will not be lacking.

Yeah, I know how this feel! I share plenty of what you said in my life too. Learned that poker is one of the best schools in the world, if you have your mind able to learn! Emotions, pacience, and the understanding of the swings of live become much more clean
