To each their own....I don't agree or disagree with it. I try to stay out of text wars and just play the game. Text wars will tilt your opponent sometimes, but then again you will be more likely to call off chips with weaker hands against them as well.

Heads up, you are not going to be annoying any other people by constantly timing out like you would be at a 6 seater so no harm done.

If he was being an idiot towards you, then I would have done everything in my power to wind him up as well (without swearing/cursing at him). Though nowadays I never speak in the chatbox, but I do observe to see who is on tilt and talking to much, these are then my likely ATMs.
