I play mostly cash, so I bought HEM, but I still liked using Poker EV so I still import all my hands into PT2 as well.

Here's the thing, the EV is never the same, and I tend to believe Poker EV over however HEM is calculating it. With HEM, it's just funky the numbers it shows for EV, oftentimes being identical to whatever the actual result is.

Is this something others have noticed? Is there a patch or something? Or even better, an EV program designed to operate with postgreSQL databases?

HEM computes all-in EV, which is identical to your winnings/losses in all pots where you are not all-in before the river, and spreads the pot according to the equity of each player where you are.

Poker-EV computes that as well, but also Sklansky bucks, which for all showdown hands spreads the value of the bets on each street between the players according to their equity at that time. A very different computation

Thanks for that. My sanity is intact, and now it all makes sense!
