I play in a small card room where I play maybe 70-80% of the same people every day and SnG tournaments are limited to about 4-5 a day at most.
There is this 1 guy in particular who I once faced heads up tournament. First hand he went all in on me.
He had A K, I had 5 5. I called.
Somehow I won that one.
Ever since then if I encounter on Satellites and SnGs I'm not afraid to be raising random hands on him like 10-3, 7-2, knowing he will fold.
In a most recent Satellite I was the chip leader. He was at about 1/3 my stack size and went all in on me. He had AQ, I had 10-10. Won that one again.
I know you're supposed to treat every hand differently but do you have anyone you have this relationship with where logic and strategy is thrown out the window and you know you'll always come out on top?
Do you have someone's number? Does someone have your number maybe?
