I can't say about the poker community, as I can't watch the capitalization of cryptocurrencies in the poker community, and in general, over the past two years, cryptocurrency has become very popular in order to quickly earnings, but more like a “casino”
Your analogy is flawed. Investing in cryptocurrencies is not like a casino. In the casino you deal with 100% luck. In cryptocurrencies, the pillars are different. You need to study the market, study cryptocurrency. Understand which technological solution it brings and be able to know if that solution will have value or not before investing. It is also necessary to know when to buy and when to take profit or fold. In short, investing in cryptocurrencies is like playing poker

No poker player did I notice an interest in cryptocurrency. Most poker players use it to deposit or withdraw funds.

Yes, since the rooms took a step forward accepting deposits and withdrawals which are fast and simple.

ACR got me to set up a crypto account. Last year was great - made more on crypto than on poker. This year has been a disaster. Very volatile. Not a good idea for me to own long term.

I never paid attention to it. And I did not notice any increased interest in cryptocurrencies in the poker community. Perhaps after this survey, attention to it will increase.

I'm not using crypto for poker related transfers so I don't know much about correlation between poker and crypto.

It seems like there was more interest in 2021, but the crypto currencies seem to have lost a lot of value, or crashed completely in 2022. So I believe traders are selling heavily as of late.

I have not seen any rise in its use in poker in the last year. It did take off a few years back but the last year I would say no changes.

I'm not sure I have noticed an increase in the last 12 months, but def a big increase previous to this time period. As ever, more people are interested while its looking a good bet. At the moment I would assume interest is waning slightly.

Of course, there are many platforms that are incorporating payment methods with cryptocurrencies, very good promotions.

I have not noticed any recent rise in interest in cryptocurrency in the poker community. But to be fair, because my interest in cryptocurrencies is close to zero, I have not taken much notice.

Sigh... I'm trying to get back into the poker world, and this forum as well. I haven't been active in well over a year. So unfortunately, I can't give an answer right now.

Yes, I think it is the best option to withdraw balance from poker platforms, for example I am from argentina and in this country we do not have many withdrawal options, I use cryptos as a passing currency to be able to have pesos, which is what I use in my country.

No I have not, but that maybe because of the fact I try to avoid Crypto in its current state.

I am sure in that.
Since so many poker players are playing on BOL or similar, and they love Bitcoin & Crypto...

I think so because there are several poker sites that offer the possibility of depositing and withdrawing money through cryptocurrencies.

I think this is a general trend of interest in cryptocurrencies in the world, not only among poker players.

Yes of course I think it will eventually become more conventional everywhere and it is the best way to withdraw money from poker sites — free and fast!!
