Now I have been taking a weird approach to pre flop play lately in hold em. I used to be so against limping with anything other than 22-77. But now I've noticed it's way harder to get paid off with my sets when I limp with my small pocket pairs because it's obvious what I have. So what I have found myself doing to balance my range is limping with hands I would usually raise with e.g ak, aq ect suited connecters and so on.. Is this strategy ok? If not how else can I balance my rnge? Or should I just alwayscomw in for a raise pre flop? Also one more thing people keep having a go at me when I play hands like a7 from let's say in middle position. The math says (this I heard from Phil gordan) that to find out if you have the strongest ace from when 4 or more players are left to act u have to look at your non ace card and if that's a higher number than the amount of players left to act you mathematically are ahead. Is this fact true? If so whatever wrong with playing a7 when 6 players are still to act?
