As far as I'm aware they aren't increasing rake at all so that is a big plus in my book. Stars are pretty active in engaging with the community and are aware of how bitchy us poker players get when changes get made that affect us adversely. I have faith that it will be a pretty balanced system where we don't get hit with the brunt of it - if they were going to shaft us the first thing that would happen is increased rake.

They have already said it will hit the reward system. What I meant was if a average player got 30% rakeback, that roughly 15% was now being lost.

After what chippy has just said though, that should take the overall hit down a bit more. I think the difference will be very small.

Btw, has anyone played the new game on stars. I think it's called spin and go. It's probably just degen but the games are ridiculously soft. Like calling down 3 streets with bottom pair soft. Maybe worth playing before any regs develop.
