also it reminds me of how people used to talk about how NLHE was so "swingy" because they'd be up .5 buy ins and then down 1 buy in and then omg up 2 buy ins but last hand of the session they lost KK<AA and were up 1 buy in. omg crazy swings!!!

I've kind of done the dengerate thing and "quit" hold'em for the time being and grinding Omaha, currently played like 40k hands mixed between 2plo-50plo.
Its gave me more "love" again for poker, I was finding nl a grind. Even if it only lasts for 100k hands, it's something I'm really enjoying apart from the obviously swings. The players are awfully bad which makes it more enjoyable I guess.

Even with zoom, I had btn on my hud as a huge 35% 3bettor, so was waiting for the 3bet, so I can 4bet get as much in and pot bet/all-in flops. Obviously didn't work out that way didn't have much on the villian who actually did the 3bet...but either way the result was good.Poor villian

^^ I think I should of bet a fair bit more with the set here, however I had some blockers to straight draws + redraws to nut straight myself + kind of wanted two pairs/9,8's/K,J's, weird one pairs to spazz raise my "small" bet. ofc it didn't work out that way, but I turn gin and the hand is played out as "normal" Infact, usually I might lead the river, but for some reason I felt they was potting even without a FH here, with other sort of hands which I crush so let them do the work for me.

Im trying to get PLO into my repetoire. Came up with this hand last nite. I flop the nut flush draw and top 2 pair. I doubt villain has AA or KK as I have them both. Maybe that is wrong of me cause if he has them I am a 3 to 1 dog. But if he doesnt I have a spot to get it all in and take it down. The table has been very loose and this villain particularly has been raising any Ace.
