WTF is wrong with people???

I have been gettining into feerolls on a few sites and playing some $1 SNGs and it amazes me what people will do.
To start, I was in a $1 SNG on UB last night and the very 1st hand the UTG player raised to 3 1/2X the BB..she was called in a 4 spots and I was sitting in the BB with AKs...this was about my 4th SNG of the night and I knew I was probably dominating most hands, I didn't think there were any pocket pairs because they would have re-raised to isolate..so I pot bet the initial raise and she insta-pushed...that made me stop and think for a moment..what would dhe do that with?? AA? KK? QQ? Of course it folded around to me and I felt I was ahead of her pushing range and at worst a coin flip and since there was too much money by now to justify a fold..turns out she had QUEEN EIGHT SUITED..who the hell raises a re-raise from UTG with Q8s??? Unless she put me on a stone cold bluff or was just bluffing herself..turned out to be a great bluff for her because she flopped an 8 and it held up..I just don't see the sense in that...of course I told her nice hand and as I waited for another tournament to start I watched her over and over commit all of her chips to suited face cards, usually with horrible kickers, and of course, she lost pretty darn fast..but would someone PLEASE explain the thought process behind pushing with a suited face like that? And yes, I realize that I didn't have a made hand either, but again, I felt that I was ahead of her range and at worst a coin flip and the pot odds more than justified my call (35*5= 175 then my pot bet of 175= 350+ her all in= 1815 and I had to call 1325) and it turned out I was more than a 2:1 fav so I am happy with the call even though I lost..I also ended up adding her to my find a player list and entered 2 more $1 SNGs that she was in and I took 3rd in one and 1st in another (18 player SNGs on UB) but that's an aside.
Ok, now onto freerolls..EVERY site I have played freerolls or the "Skill League" on Pokerstars it's ALWAYS the same..there are usually 3 or 4 people all in the 1st 3 or 4 hands..I watched one guy "donkpro.com" on Pokerstars go all in 18 hands in a row, and WIN with junk..I was in 3 with him..won the first, lost the 2nd and crippled him the 3rd and someone else polished him off two hands later..but I see this in every freeroll..and I try to sit and be patient and wait for good hands..but what am I supposed to do when one guys pushes and I am sitting with AQs on the button?? Turns out that guy had A4 and beat me..it was the 1st hand of a Full Tilt $150 freeroll..and usually I try and sit out the first 10-20 hands in these freerolls, that way the donks have either a: been knocked out or b: have a big stack and have settled down some. I know it was stupid to call an all in the 1st hand..I know better than that..even as a 3:1 favorite...and thats what I figured I would be and at worse a 60:40 favorite..I know sometimes I am going to be a coin flip there and it sucks to be in a coin flip on your first hand, and most times I would have folded because usually it is 4-5 people pushing with 7-4o and J-3s and hands like that..I am sure anyone who has played ANY freerolls knows what I am talking about...and again..I just don;t get it.

i am one of them pushers on the first hand, the way i see it, why sit there for hours and hours trying to build chips then out before the bubble four hours in. take a chance at the start try get chips, if you do you do, if you dont well hey you not gona waste your time. that is all.

I skimmed it. There is lots of variance in poker. Sometimes the fish suck out on you. It happens a lot so get used to it. You want bad players in your games. That's where the money comes from.

If you can play decent you will beat them in the long run. Don't make fancy plays just play solid TAG "ABC" poker. You don't have to be Phil Ivey just play fundamentaly sound.

If you can't beat the bad players its not their fault. Look in the mirror.

Sorry if I sound harsh but it seems like every other day someone comes on here and screams bloody murder about all of the fish that are ruining there game. If only they could play against good players they could be rolling in money. Its idiotic. You want bad players, they are your source of profit. If you can't beat bad players, good players will take your lunch money and make you cry. Pros can go several tournaments without a cash. If it happens to them it can certainly happen to you.

Oh yeah, one more thing, use paragraphs. That wall of bitterness you posted was tilt inducing.

Serious Response A: it doesn't matter what they hell they're thinking. The thing that really makes no sense is people like you complaining like this is a bad thing. Good players make their money off bad players like the ones you described, if anything you should be making posts praising them.

I doubt there is much thought process in the way these guys play - and I like that.

Apart from using HEM I note the opening/shoving ranges of them.

Not trying to overgeneralize but I do think that players who B/RR J8o from utg will continue to do stupid stuff like that as long as they stay.

Usually those guys pay me off later when they chase their gutter or think their bottom pair is golden on a AhKh3h board.

My confession. Until fairly recently I played suited face cards with kickers over 5, as if they were a pp. Im still learning the game, as Ive only played for 4/5 months.
I did it because I read it in an article somewhere. I carried on doing it because I won. Over and over and over again. So I would have been foolish to think it was a problem or a leak in my game. It's only after cruising the forums and reading up for weeks that I've started to play 'properly'. Like most (if not all) poker players online, until you care enough to read up. Your play will both suck and blow.
But you may well luck out so often you consider yourself successful!.

The freerolls and 'cheap seat' games are for beginners. Its a lil unfair to criticise people for not being at your standard of play, when you are in THEIR territory. Move up or accept it in the early-mid section of Freerolls. We all know that they are full of rage inducing idiots. Mostly they knock themselves out.
From the volume of posts on this site (and others)about 'bad beats' 'fish' etc, mostly venting real hatred. Im surprised any beginners return to playing after visiting a lot of the forums!

Yeah, just to echo what others have said, your big problem is you are in the freerolls. I find the standard of play raises drastically (although still not great) after the first 40 hands or so. Just sit out in the early stages unless you flop a monster (QQ+ AK)
