There is such thing as a BETA online mbile poker soft and Im talking about FTP RUSH Mobile.

I find this soft life changing because you can go out and still be able to win a couple of bucks!!!

Is it just me or this is just a great idea?

EXCEPT THE CONNECTION ISSUES!

My Droid isn't fancy enough for the application, but I think it's awesome. I can't wait til I can play Rush poker on my phone. Sit down at a live table or tournament, and while your waiting for good hands just sit there and Rush.

I, for one, would play all the time if I had a good, reliable mobile client. There are lots of times when I'm out and about and have a few minutes, but not really enough time to tether a laptop, connect, sit in, sit out, and shut everything down.

The sad part is that with the defeat of Reid's poker bill this year, I cannot imagine Apple approving such a thing for the App store. I figure it was a long shot if the bill passed, and now it's all but impossible.

Even with Reid's bill passed, that wouldn't change what Apple's policies are on no gambling Apps. They don't have that in place because they think that online poker is illegal. By the way, internet poker isn't illegal, it is just the banks aren't allowed to transfer funds to or from poker sites. So no, it won't be coming to Apple anytime soon.

I dont have a smart phone to be playing it on. As if online poker didnt have enough shady spots to it already. Id be too paranoid to play on a phone, thats just me.
Probably be a story down the road about accounts being hacked thru the mobile phones.

You're too paranoid, and I'm sure that somewhere down the line something will happen to someone, but you can't save your password on the app, so that is good for security. You have a much higher likeliness of having your computer hacked than your cell phone.

I'm sure you are right, tis a bummer.
I could care less, I hate damn near everything there is about Apple, lol.

Apple sucks. I've never owned anything Apple, and will go to my grave saying that. Apple tried to get a law passed to make it illegal to jailbreak your phone, didn't pass. But I'm happy for all you iPeople, you're the kind of people who need things dictated to you, if nobody wanted to follow, what would leaders do? Just because Apple has a mutli million dollar ad campaign to shove their trash in your face, and everyone else is doing it; there's an old saying, if everyone jumped of a bridge...

Having a fulltilt, pokerstars, or bodog app on a smart phone would be great. If you are commuting or taking a long train ride, or going on a long trip, it would be awesome to enter a freeroll, cash game, or mtt. It's a long way off, I'm sure of that but I imagine one day it will come to fruition. Ha, nothing would be better than playing an mtt tournament for a few hours on a flight from NYC to Vegas for your long poker weekend! MUAHAHAHAHAHA!

With all of the errors I see trying to text with my Droid phone with these big hands, I can only imagine how a poker app for real money would go!

"Folded? I was trying to go all-in! I have a straight flush!!"
