Can you play multiple tables mixing hold 'em with a low-ball game?

I read some online poker advice suggesting those playing multiple tables avoid mixing high-card with low-ball games -- playing, say, Hold 'Em and Razz at the same time. Or Hold 'Em and 2-7 Single Draw.

I'm in awe that some of you can play four, six, 10, 20 games at once. But I'm wondering if any of you mix genres like this and if you find it difficult?

Yes it can be difficult if the games have structure in common. For example badugi and plo can be difficult as you have four down cards in both.

Not sure about that, I imagine it would be hard. Hell I have problems playing one table at a time

Mixing games i find impossible, to play best poker i find have to play the one game, too much going through your head otherwise. If you are doing this, start off with smallest number of tables and add tables gradually as you get used to it

I have sometimes played an Omaha, Five Card Draw, or Seven Card Stud tournament simultaneously with my usual NLHE MTTs. It`s far from easy, though, and ramps up the level of concentration needed quite sharply. I have had some cashes while mixing games, but I have never won a tournament outright except when I was playing that variant exclusively.

I will play up to 4 Hold'em tournaments at once, sometimes 2 Hold'em & 1 Omaha

I like playing NLHE while playing Razz as well. I really have no problem with it but Razz is a very simple game i'm not sure how this would apply to some of the other mixed games.

I played PLO and PLO8 simultaneously... I had very bad results.
