| Poker Strategies - Posting Guidelines Welcome to the Poker Strategies board! A brief summary of what should and shouldn't be posted here, so that we can hopefully keep having to move threads around to a minimum. New and old members alike should take note of this, as I still see some old hands posting things in the wrong place. What should be posted here: - Any questions regarding specific strategies or strategic concepts relating to poker. This could be anything from asking about effective bubble play to asking what a Stop and Go is to very broad issues like effective MTT strategy. - Psychological questions and advice, for example regarding tilt, ego, and suchlike. I probably wouldn't one of these threads if it was posted in Poker General, but the best place is here, unless it's a very general point. What should not be posted here: - Anything that is prohibited by the rules (http://www.cardschat.com/faq.php), such as spam/advertising. - Anything involving a hand history, even if you are using it to illustrate a strategic concept. Use the Hand Analysis board, and be sure to read the sticky threads there first for more advice. - Anything with no strategic content. Use whichever respective board best suits it. "Look at this guy make this stupid play, doesn't he suck?", for example, has no strategic content. Finally, a brief note on 'topicality' (is that even a word?) Quote:
