Micro cash gamer. Heey, First of all sorry if i spelled things incorrectly of my grammer is wrong english is not my mother language. if been out of the poker world for a while now, and since resently i started playing again. But instead of sit and go's which is what i pretty much always played. I started over in cash games. So far it goes oke, . I know i aint the best and really need to learn A LOT!! sit and go's and cash games are 2 different world to me... (how is your experience on that matter?) So i thought it would be nice to post something about it every once a while. And i would like to ask you guys for help. What is the best advice you can give me? (considering that i know the game, the rules.. just not this type of game.) So far: I started with $7,50 and am now up to $146,00 playing 5NL. My bankroll management is going to look like: 5NL from $200,00 10NL from $400,00 25NL from $1000,00 I know i am playing outside of my bankroll as it is.. but i dont think 2NL isnt really poker at least not to me. I play to have fun, and to win. And 2NL just isnt fun... in my opinion. I also play live: 10NL (there arent lower games in around here.) So guys(and girls) any tips comment? Pleasse react

I think your strategy looks fine. Bankroll management is kind of an individual thing. And especially if you don't really rely on this money in any way I don't think there is any need to have like 100 buyins for each limit or something crazy like that. I think the most important thing is to stick to the plan though and not jump stakes on a whim or because you are running bad. Also, when you move up take calculated shots and be disciplined enough to move back down for awhile if it doesn't go your way at first. Great work so far! GL.

re: Micro cash gamer. poker [quote=micromachine;1846144]Yeah they are completely different and require different strategies Read around the forum, there is a lot of good cash game strategy stuff here. Review your sessions and post some tricky hands in the HA forum for feedback. Do you use an HUD or tracking software? I would recommend investing $45 to get a microstakes version of PT3 or HM2 Thanks for the reply guys, i appreciate it. And no not yet i am planning to get the 3 months for free from pokertracker 3 once i am up to the 10NL level. After i will see where the ship takes me. And the stuff i learned so far... is just insane.. (its just so much) being a "oke" sit and go player i thought this "low" level whas going to be easy.. but those thought where haunting me pretty quickly. Maybe i post the things i learned, so some of the newer players wont have the make the same mistakes

Definitely agree with getting HEM or PT3 ASAP, it will only help you and if you plan on playing for any length of time, getting it sooner rather than later regardless of what stakes you're at now, will help. As for your BRM...I'd say your limits are pretty conservative. I like to see that. Leaving yourself with quite a bit of padding for when the downswings will eventually come.
