Live ring game Question
I played in a live game last night for the 1st time (this game).
The Blinds are .05/.10 with a max buy-in of $2.00 (yeah 20 Big Blinds) Most pots are raised to .30 pre-flop and 4-5 see the flop.Almost every pot is contested to the showdown. I am curious about what starting hands/strategys you would use in this game. Changing the game is not an option,I feel lucky to have a game to go to around here. Snow ![]() |

With such a high percentage of players seeing the flop and then having the hand play out to showdown, this seems like the type of game where you just play ABC poker. You're gonna get paid off when you get a monster or hit your draws so just play by the books and profit.
![]() You say most pots are raised to .30 and get several callers. How about employing some 3betting pre-flop? Raise some hands up to .90 and see how they respond. |
