Best Home game format.

Hi guys I'm going to play in a little home game tonight with some friends. Very low staked probably just for a couple of cents..

I was just wondering what u guys think is the best format to play, I imagine that it's going to be cash games and not tourneys. What I actually want to know from you is: How do you price certain chips. Like 1c 2c 5c 10c 25c ? I really have no clue as to what amount of each kind of chip (and prices) I need to put so to get to a say 1$ buy in?

Any help is appreciated.

black - 100
blue - 50
green - 25
red - 5
white - 1

Add 'cent' after each of those numbers and you're set

Thanks i guess we'll leave the black and possibly the green ones out
Although I wish we played some higher limits, but they said I was too good .

Good for my ego but not really true they just never play

I do

W: 5
B: 10
R: 25
G: 50
B: 100

Everyone starts off with 1k. Blinds raise as players are knocked out.

This is maybe too late to help, but here oes.

We usually play them with a sit-and-go format, blinds raise every 15 minutes or something along those lines. Chip values are kinda arbritrary, we play with 100, 500, 1000 and 10,000 (if required) chips with starting stacks of between 8-20K, depending on how long we want the game to go.

Only comment I'd make on your structure is to do with the chip denominations - you'll probably find you don't need the 2c chips (unless you're seriously short on the 1c ones). 1c / 5c / 10c / 25c should do it, though you could probably even skip the 10c ones if you've got enough 5c chips.

Thanks guys for all your input, I wish we could play a tourney once but between all the toxic substances and general "cba" attitude I don't see it working out . Also my friends there don't have a lot of cash to begin with. So we played with 80c stacks for about an hour.

In the end i was down 14c but got to drink and smoke big ass cigars free all evening so i don't really care XD
