Winning player who does not steal

Okay Im playing against a winning player with 10% ROI over 2000+ matchs of 10 handed 3 dolla sng.

He is a tight aggressive player obviously

The question I have is...how can I take advantage of a guy who steals 8% of the time and so far has folded 12/12 steals. I assume his range is calling only 10% or so. should I just hammer wide with the steals on him and fold most of his reraises? Surprisingly though he might be tight passive because he only has a AFq of 17. Any thoughts or suggestions?

The advantage you have is that you know what his hand is in every situation. If he plays aggressively you should probably back down unless you have a very top tier hand...if he plays passively you should probably bet bet bet (if you bet and get called, assume he's on a drawing type of hand or a medium strength hand).

When a player telegraphs their hands like that it's very easy to respond

Thanks. I assumed his overly tight and passive style would draw a bit of predictability! Thanks for the advice!!

Yep just hammer him with bets till he adjusts (if he adjusts).

Steal, steal, steal... You will win more than lose on the long run. If he adjusts, then, you stay cool a couple of orbit.

Re-raise him 4x BB + his raise when you have a comparable hand (at, aj, aq ak, jj, qq, kk, aa) or just randomly shove him a bit---tight players hate that.

Also watch out for him just calling in situations as well. Many players see a player stealing and playing aggressively and trap them when they finally wake up with something. If he's flatting, be careful.

I agree with eqgh5uea, raise big when you have something decent (just in-case he calls you) this will usually throw these types of their game or at least put them on a bit of tilt if they are not experienced players, you may not get them the first time but it will pay off later.
