PLO Question

I'm a hold'em player transitioning and I had one question.

If I hold AJxx and the flop comes KQT and then a J comes on the turn do I still have a straight here?

Can the board "counterfeit" your hand?

You still have the straight. If your opponent holds AK, AQ, AT, they now have a straight themselves.

Yup, what CJ said. This type of counterfeit is the simple 'aw crap now I gotta share it' variety. It's not the G-dfreakkingdammit' variety, like when the board pairs up or rivers the flush that you don't own.

yep, what dive said...and the river wil pair or flush, because "FLOPPED NUTS IN OMAHA IS THE KISS OF DEATH"....

This a big problem of Omaha... Better hands come out more often... Slow down and read the board and work out the best hand. Think how would I bet it. Then use that to work out your next move... Reraise... Fold... etc

As these two said position is very important when playing PLO. UTG flopped straight board could pair or flush hits river and you're toast.
