i've got a bet on 'George Kostanza' & see that he's playing Day 1a & currently sitting with ~60,000 chips! Go George!!!

Will Daniel Negraneau run deep (he's not been doing well this year @ WSOP)? Probably not...

Will Matt Afleck not take another HUGH bad beat?? He does get emotional about this stuff

I think Phil Hellmith is going to make a great WSOP. He's making a very solid WSOP this year, he already ended up in 2nd place 3 times. I think Main Event is going to be his time.

I think there are 4 different day 1's, so they'll be coming up.

I know that Daniel Negranu was trying to decide between day 1c or 1d. My guess is a lot of them aren't planning on playing their day 1 until later and probably are not officially registered.

FWIW they do that in a bunch of tournies already, but it's termed a re-entry not a rebuy to spare confusion

I reckon that the November 9 will be filled with people who turn pro in August and by that definition will be filled with 9 professionals.

Yes I believe it's day three on a 30 min delay with hole cards exposed on ESPN3.com.

Hehe but seriously, past MEs have been won mainly by unknown pros - Duhamel this year for example - and amateurs - Moneymaker. I think that this year it's time for a well known live or online pro to win it

I look forward to watching hellmouth play in the main event because I believe he is going to make a deep run this year. I mean he's not going to win, but seeing how great he play this year I believe he's going deep. Also, I enjoy seeing how he always make an ass of himself.
