is tearing up the wsop this year. He was 21 years old and 1 month when he Event 22... AND, on top of that, he just made his 4th final table last night, in event 35 (Seven Card Stud Hi-Lo Split).

He was an unknown because he wasn't 21 yet but my god did he make an impact immediately. He says he played mostly at an Indian Casino in LA, so I don't know if he is a prominent online player or not.

So far his 2006 WSOP results have been:

Event #8 - WSOP Omaha Hi/Lo - 3rd place - $97,552
Event #22 - WSOP NL Hold'em - 1st place - $660,948
Event #30 - WSOP NL Hold'em Shorthanded - 1st place - $643,381

Event #35 - Seven Card Stud... just made the final table.

Wow...he's making quite the mark...

Actually, while I was watching ESPNews earlier they did an interview with him. He got his money to buy-in from borrowing $3500 from his parents -- then he took another $6000 from his college fund -- and planned on playing in only 6 events. He never had any intention to play in the Main Event as it was out of his bankroll, but that's all a moot point now as he has amassed nearly $1.5 million.

I guess he will be in the main event now that his cashflow problems have been solved
