| ok..stop and think...where does the revenue go from PokerStars and Fultilt and Absolute.....off shore...right. Now if there is no offshore competition in the United States...then people will have to play on-line within the United States and then where will the revenue go? Canada was supposed to open up on-line gambling sites run by the goverment last fall. Some poker and casino sites went ahead and banned us before the Canadian government passed their....On-line gambling on Canadian sites only (that is just my theory on the whole deal) Our land Casino's are owned by the Canadian government. |

the only solution to the ponzi pyramid scheme of taxation is for everyone to stop paying taxes...only buy things with no tax, play home games with no rake, grow your own tobacco, ,brew your own beer , and run your vehicles off alcohol Last edited by pfb8888 : 21st April 2011 at 8:19 PM. |

| re: D.C Legalizes Online Poker! I only live 2 1/2 - 3 hours away from DC anyway, but no plans to move there anytime soon . I'm pretty sure it's one of those places with a higher cost of living. It is a step in the right direction I guess tho. |

| This might be a blueprint for the rest of the states. Intrastate online poker may become popular fast. I just hope that the federal government pulls their heads out of their butts soon so that we can have intertate or hell even international gaming legalized... I simply don't understand how our government can turn down a much needed revenue source... one that is already out there and requires literally no work from them. |
