Pokerstars has by far the largest MTT's. They have the biggest guarantees, and the prize pool usually exceeds these guarantees. Their tournaments pay out very top-heavy. If you simply want huge tournaments, definitely go to Pokerstars (this is coming from a Full Tilt player).

not many people find Pokerstars as a bad site like you stated so your one of the few. Only reason i could see choosing fulltilt over pokerstars is if your elligible for rakeback..if not than mise well GTFO and head to Pokerstars and take advantage of their stellar rewards program

I'm not sure I'm understanding your post here... is it --> what's a good poker site for Tournament play with buyins over $10?
I'd recommend Fulltilt.

Things I don't like about Pokerstars Tournaments,... field size are just way too huge for my liking. I don't like the satellite structure there either (alot of micro buyin Turbo rebuys)... & much prefer Fulltilt in this respect (ie. alot of sattys are 1 in 4 get the ticket, or token sats. $26, $75, $215 where once again it's even a bit better than 1 in 4 getting paid).

Fulltilt also offers alot more 6-max tourneys.

If you are looking for MTT's, PokerStars is by far the best. They have the biggest fields and massive guarantees. A couple weeks ago they upped their guarantee to $4M on their Sunday million tourney and ended up getting so many players that the payout was well over that. For a $215 buyin, first place I think paid over 1 million. You just can't find that on any other site.

Pokerstars and Full Tilt have the best tournies...but the worst RNG-s, especially PS.
If you are american, these two rooms are ok.
If you are european, I would recommend Ipoker and Pacific networks.

Pokerstars is the easy answere here, I would also say the Cake network and Ultimatebet seem to be pretty decent.

In case you dont like those, the Cake/skins have excellent $6 sitngos, some $3 also I believe...they also have $6 bounty sitngo with 30 players.
Cake/skins also have $5 double up games,where 10 players,and the top 5 double up.Bottom 5 lose.Plus theres more,you should check these out.

I play at several sites and by far like PokerStar's MTT's. Huge fields, Top Heavy pay structure and I especially like the tourney's with 15 minute blinds.

best poker site for cash games = full tilt poker

best poker site for turnament games = full tilt poker

but you need to learn to play at... get ready to lose if you are goin to try

you have a high range of choice and there are pretty good money bubbles in tournaments for small buy in compared to other poker rooms and action at tables is never boring ... but you need to experience full tilt before cus is not like other rooms...

pokerstars is definately the best for guarenteed cash tourneys. new tourneys start every 10-15 minutes.

on the other hand

full tilt has some nice tourneys but not close to as much as pokerstars. BUT less people get paid so you make more if you make the money

I would say that Pokerstars is the best idea here because they have the largest MTTs, larger than any other poker site. Full Tilt would probably be the second best choice but if you are looking for high buyins, I would check out Pokerstars. Full Tilt has some large ones, but PokerStars has even better ones. Good luck if you do play any tournaments!
