You wont believe this...

I got a wild notion to put 100$ into fulltilt yesterday at about 11am

12 hrs later i cashed out ...

2,000

and that gave me about 336 to play with to build back up
i lost the 336, and ill lose it every time to cash out 2k, it was amazing

wish i had recorded the whole day. some amazing hands good calls and good laydowns

Well I say go back to the cash table and go large cuz you don't have much luck in Mtt's or sngs and if you really were hitting it like that on cash tables, why not back off and play a limit your bankroll can afford to take a hit on. (I personally would never bring more than 10% of my bankroll to a table).
I guess the $100+ sng didn't go so well,.. 6th of 9.
Wondering if you're just wayyy better on the cash tables or what??
SNG's you've only played 23 games in total and have an roi of -73%, avg. buy-in of $11.09, and total profit of -$184.05 ??
In Mtt's,. even worse,.. .only 10Mtts with an roi -100%, last one (yesterday) was a $26 buy-in coming in 1,087th of 1,116 ???

Maybe,.. just maybe you should just get someone to tie you up so you don't lose the rest of that cash that you won(?) and then take advice above from other's, in regards to bankroll management. Or not.....

I read a blog from a player once, saying that they'd been ITM in the last 17Mtt's in a row, had 3 losses before that, and had a streak before that as well. I couldn't help myself so I looked them up,.. they'd only cashed twice in the last 20??... maybe they got their facts reversed??
Disillusionment and poker somtimes seems to go hand in hand,.. and does seem to attract it's fair share for sure.

Sayin' to go back and go LARGE was 'saracasm',.. but also meaning that if this person was actually 'winning' for a change then may as well enjoy it for the fleeting moment.

i did infact cash out, the 119 sng i was on the phone, and the other i think was a daily double i used my ftps on, i was tired. my wife left me a week ago under alot of stress havent been eating or sleeping well.

luck played a part with my winnings. i did cash out with alot of the money i earned. and i know im not the best player out there but i did learn alot of things playing the 50/100 tables. everyone plays anything!

Cash 60-70% of it out and leave the rest on there.. Just play some smaller stakes. That way you can keep building your BR and pay some bills also, a win-win.

Sounds like you've been running well, but maybe could use some knowledge on Bankroll Management. I agree with some of the other replies in cashing out most of what you have won for yourself. With a small amount to leave online, you could begin building a bankroll. There are plenty of great threads on CC on this topic..just type it in the search box

I don't think this is a bankroll issue.

It looks like he wanted to have fun with $100, and didn't care if he lost it all. His goal was *not* to use that $100 to fund a long-term poker career, so bankroll management isn't (that) important.

Sounds like he accomplished his goal. Win-or-lose I'm sure he got $100 worth of fun out of the experience. Any winnings are gravy.
