worst beat of all time?

jus curious to hear feedback on this .......i ve suffered too many like trips on the flop losing runner runner to hands like 6 2 making a gut shot on river and not pairing board for my boat..sickning but that s poker lol

I've had the nut flush straight ace high and I got beat by quad runners on turn and river....that kinda sucked...damn donkeys...

Not sure exactly what we're commenting on but the worst beat possible is two running quad/inside straight flush cards.

Lol I saw that. I'm sorry I meant that I flopped a Nut Straight on a rainbow board and got one of his jacks on the flop, played me all in from flop to river and rivers a Jack....=/

welll wouldnt the worst beat of all time be a Royal Flush Sucking out to beat Quad AA or could it depend on how the Quads were beat for it to be the worst evr?

Something like flopping Quad K's and losing to runner runner quad Aces. Pokerstove puts the pocket Aces chance at .1% after the flop so I'd have to think it couldn't get any worse (basically any hand that wins runner runner with only 2 outs)

I just had a full house earlier, but the board paired 4OaK and he won with the ace high it was brutal

been there done that....it was omaha tho...$450+ pot...4 players allin on turn...me with AAAA...girl with 2sfullA and K hi flush and J hi flush..2s full girl had 34 spades and hit 5 spades on river....had to get a new monitor

I read about this in another Forum a few years back and after I saw the title to this thread I started searching for it and finally found it this morning. If your going to talk about bad beats, you’ve got to come up with something that’ll beat this:

Read TJ Cloutier's and Tom McEvoy's pot and no-limit hold'em book and after all the meat, TJ tells a few stories, including one he calls "The Worst Bad Beat of All Time." Apparently he was playing in a game with a poor fellow who was running bad, but pushed with his last $425 moving all-in Pre-Flop. Another player was getting a backrub from a masseuse, so he held his cards up rather than peeking and thereby allowing the player seated next to him to get a nice view of them. In the end it didn’t seem to matter because the guy decided to pass and mucked those same cards.

The action continued and everyone folded around to TJ, who immediately decided to called with two tens. Unfortunately, the dealer didn't see him call and, because he thought that it had folded around, he dropped the deck onto the muck and effectively killed the hand.

The floorman was called, and he decided that the deck and the muck should be re-shuffled (since there was no way to determine which cards should be live and which one should be dead) so that the hand could be completed. So that's what he did.

The all-in player showed two kings which was obviously bad for TJ's two tens. The flop came KTx, a set for both players. The turn was the case ten, making TJ quads! The river didn't bring the case king, and the poor fellow busted out.

After the poor guy left, the guy getting the back rub started up a conversation about the hand and he said that he had mucked pocket tens. Generally, no one would necessarily believe this, but of course the guy sitting next to him had a chance to take a peek and he confirmed it! So TJ was all but drawing dead before the dealers mistake because his two primary outs were bot laying in the muck, and the only way to get them back in was to have the dealer spoil the deck and have to shuffle the muck back in. That really does seem to be the worst bad beat ever!

^^^ rigged shuffle imo, obviously dealt from the bottom of the deck hehe

yeah, i read this also, and i think this is a frontrunner, but the guy gettin the backrub showed his cards to the masseuse, not the guy beside him PEEKING....we all know that is NOT ALLOWED!!! EVER!!!!

So weird I found this as I just had my sickest beat of all time.

Was playing on Full Tilt in a 6 man SnG $10 game. It is now down to last 3 with the top two placing.

I am SB with A 4 unsuited. I have 4,000 chips
BB and Button have 3000 and 1000 respectively.

All 3 call the BB. Flop comes 2,3 5 rainbow.

A straight for me. I've been playing LAG all game so figure an all in move will grab anyone with trips, or an over pair or even 2 high cards.

Sure enough it brings me 2 all in callers. Fantastic right?

BB shows AA
Button shows 22.

Turn card is a 2 giving the Button quads.
River is an A giving BB a full house.

Insane!!

i once had a straight flush nut kicker ultimate hot fudge sundae but then it fell on the river and i hate it i hate it
