| i would have just called his 1k, cause you don't have the nuts and he could have had poket K, 9, or 2's. AA is the best hand pre flop, but once cards on the board hit, everything changs. that was a bad call though on his part calling you all in, people that play like the villian, NEVER WIN, you WILL get his money in the long run, as long as you play smart poker. |

My run on Full Tilt..... 7 straight H2H SnG games where I was all in pre-flop with best hand and chance to win, and lost all 7 (won 2 of them, but lost the other 5). Then 3 straight games where i flopped top 2 pair against bottom set (3 consecutive SnGs!). Then in the big Hendon Mob league which I am near top of table in (4 WSOP buy-ins up for grabs) all-in with KK v smaller stack AK. A on river, i'm crippled, he ends up winning weekly event. Then this week, rivered 3 straight times in HORSE Stud level (admittedly some of them had loads of outs, but one 50/50 would be nice). Then last night, H2H $22 SnG all-in pre-flop 2,200 chips v 800 with AJ v 44 - A on flop, but 4 on river. No probs, I was underdog, but shortly after, back up to 2,000 - K9 v K2, all in post flop on K high flop, river 2. Got back up to 2,000+ (he was truly terrible, though soon to be $44 richer). All in post flop with 8 10 on 8 9 10 board - he's got 9 5. 9 on river. Final hand, have 4 5, flop biddle pair against top pair, none of my outs hit. I've done nothing wrong last couple of weeks, but have pumped deposit after deposit in, just to try and win ONE game. Given up, will play out the rest of the Hendon Mob league, but once Full tilt flips the switch on you, forget it (not the first unwinnable run like this i've had). |

| sometimes ppl will call big pre-flops raises with bad cards, i do it once in a while( maybe 1 in 100 hands), logic is that he figures you have ak or high pair, if he hits something good, he can make you think you have the nuts and slam you...unless you have nuts and someone calls all in on something like that be careful....it was kinda a bad call on his part though since the king flopped you could have had trip kings or something...im guessing this wasnt a real money game but a tourney? u cant play freeroll tourneys like real money until you get close to the end... |
