Is there a way to convert points to money on Pokerstars

I've learned my lesson no more gambling with my own money on stars, but was wondering if there was a way to convert my points to money since I have a lot of points on there, and really don't want to use them for anything.

I was wondering if anyone knows and how to do it?

I'm not aware of any way to turn them directly to cash. You can, however, turn them indirectly to cash through play.

I did this by playing the 70FPP x 10 SNG's. When I won, I got a buyin to an $11 MTT. I then unregistered and had 11 T$ (tournament dollars) put in my account.

The T$ can then be used to enter any cash tournament. My preference was the $5.5 x 9 SNGs since they are the simplest for me. Whenever I cashed in those SNGs, that was real cash.

All that being said, it sounds like you've had a bad run at the tables so this might not work for you either. It would, however, give you another chance to fix your game without another investment.

You can do this on bodog but it's smarter to keep the points and play in some of the point "free" rolls.. For every 100 point you get like $1, not a good deal, IMO.

Currently on bodog there are 200 point 10 person SNG tables, first place pays $29 tournament credits, 2nd and 3rd pays $1.50 credits. I've won 2 of these tournments for credits, alot of people just throw it all in with nothing and you just end up playing 3 or 4 people for some money.

I know this probably doesn't help because you aren't on bodog, but converting points to cash over there is pretty much useless.

There is no direct way to convert FPP's. If you could transfer FPP's I'm sure there'd be some sort of exchange site, but there's not.

You can either use the FPP's to get free stuff from the PokerStars store (which can be sold), or you can use them to buy into tournaments where you can win $ or lose and get nothing.

If you reach silverstar or higher, you can buy cash bonuses for them.

I recently looked and had about 3600 of them! so I ordered a Harrington book and with the remainder have been playing in a 10 point tourny, I came in 2nd the other night and won 41.00. Just a couple of ideas for you.

but the OP doesn't sound like he wants to play more, and the bonuses require you to clear them by gaining more FPPs. So barring this, which would require more gambling with your own money, and playing in the FPP tourneys, there's no way to directly turn them into cash. If they could transfer I'd definitely offer to buy them off of you, but unfortunately they can't be transfered.

You can buy $50 for 5,000. I think theres a bonus you have to clear though.
