I suspect a lot of players simply can't be bothered to read the T&Cs. I've read some, although certainly not for every site where I have money, so nothing in this article surprises me. Actually, it just annoys me even more that governments like the US and mine, Canada, won't protect me from such potential abuses via reasonable regulations.
