yes i have heard of people doing that but it really isnt much of a big deal and it probably does not occur that often because it is just time consuming to go thru all those steps just for a freee 100$ depositing 1K$ and having to go thru the trouble that is withdrawing money

why isn't $100 free worth it ? People go to a lot more time and effort to win some pennies or bucks in freerolls. If you look at it from ma pure profit point of view this is surely the best way ? For instance what if you deposit $50 and get a %100 bonus making it $100. You then withdraw your own 50 and play with the other 50 for free? If I'm making no sense at all pls shoot me and disregard this post.

You can't play with "Bonus" money until it is cleared by getting a certain amount of points which are accumulated through rake usually. *EDIT* Bodog Poker offers players who sign up through PokerNews a great 10% bonus on their initial deposit, up to $1000. The bonus will be awarded at a rate of $1 for every 3 Bodog Poker points received. The bonus never expires, but must be received in full before a player can cash out, else is forfeited.

It depends on if you're on a limited bankroll and/or have a lot of time to devote to playing online poker. I just worked on clearing a bonus that PokerRoom had for Canadian players. It was time limited, as are all of these online deposits, where you have to play a certain amount and have been in raked hands within a set time-frame. If you don't those bonus dollars are just gone. I was able to get all of it, but I don't have a lot of money invested in it at the moment, so it didn't take as long say if I deposited the maximum alloted amount. But now, I can use that extra money for whatever. Thinking about just practicing in large MTTs and satellites, such as Aussie Millions entry. I know it's a longshot, but should just see where it goes once my exams finish up here. So, if you have the time and/or are looking for extra money, then definitely take a look and put some time into it.

One other thing to remember is that most, if not all, sites have TOS rules about abusing their bonuses (which I, personally, support them having). So if you do find a 100% bonus, deposit $50, get $50 free, then withdraw your initial $50, don't be a bit surprised when then immediately take your $50 bonus away. Bonuses are given as marketing tools and the sites don't take kindly to people abusing their "generosity". And they are within their rights to do so. And as far as abuse goes, that is typically within their discretion alone. So, instead of trying to get something for nothing, why not put some money in, get the bonus, and work on improving your game so you can stop constantly depositing and/or trying to constantly get extra free bonus money. A good player will make more money playing than someone that runs around trying to scam bonuses.
