Pokerstars Tournies move to quick

I have emailed Stars and requested that they offer a drop down menu with a fixed list of the tournies available. After confirming the price and clicking OK, you would then simply be seated at the next available table. So often I click on the wrong tourney because the screen has moved or by the time I open the correct tourney and TRY to register, it is full already.

Anyone else think something like this would be a good idea?

**can't change the title, but it should be "too* quick"

Not really, that email usually means that they have passed your idea on to the programming Department or whoever it is and you may get another email saying wether they like your idea or not.

Cool. Thanks! I thought it may have been a standard "whatever" type of email.

be aware though that it is still iffy to wether the pregramming departement replies to your email. Alternatively in a week or so just send them another email asking wether they are going to intergrate something along the lines of what you suggested into the software.

Will do. I just tried to register for a tourney 5 times because by the time I would get to the confirmation screen "registration closed"... soooooo frustrating!

This will solve one problem but it will create another for those who want to have the chance to avoid certain players.

In my email to support I mentioned leaving the current system, but having this new one on the same screen just as a different option to register. So, in avoiding other players you could use the old system to still register a table. As for avoiding them joining your table, the current system can't help that.

My actual email...

AFTER clicking all this, we are then seated at the next available table.

It is very frustrating trying to click on a tournament only to be taken to a different one because the screen moved while you were in the process of clicking. Then, after clicking on and opening the correct tournament, it has filled up so fast it is now closed and you have to TRY to get into another similar tournament and hope IT doesn't fill up before you can get in as well.

With a system similar to what I have suggested, first off, the screen would not move as it would be a simple drop down box with the various tourney price/formats listed and once you confirm registration you would simply be seated at the next available table. Much less frustrating than the current system can be. You would still have the current system, this would just be somewhere on the same screen as an alternative registration method.

As a player on dial-up (hey I live in the deep woods) P*s is unplayable for this very reason. The low $$ tourney are seemingly full before I even see them. I've never deposited there but did get the free $5 a few weeks ago. It took me longer to register for a tourney there than I lasted in said tourney.

It's not that the site is too slow, it's that the tourney's fill too fast. When I did manage to join a game, play was normal.

I play on Bodog and Full Tilt.

What they can do is simply create a new tourney as soon as one has been filled. Look like it's now on a fixed time interval.

They actually create some BEFORE the other is filled, which is OK, but this is what creates the movement of the rest of the screen. Now, if after you click OK on the confirmation screen, it would seat you at another table if the one you selected was full, that would work as well.
